About this deal

If you want that, excellent QC from a Japanese pressing, collectors colored vinyl and not looking for premiere sound quality, this is for you.

As a matter of fact, I've put together my own mixtape of the first half of Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Pleasuredome made up entirely of their 12" singles. records are known to be shit because they're mixed and cut poorly, so embedded in the loudness war, it's impossible to own their records.Strange how different experiences of sound quality users posting in this forum about this album have had listening to this version of the album. The voice of Liam is clear and great, but the music lacks of clarity ( except on some songs, for instance Don’t go away sounds great). By 1997, Oasis were at the pinnacle of their success and had become omnipresent in British youth culture. It's like listening to noise, and the thing is, if you turn the volume knob down, then you won't be able to hear as much, but then as you turn it up, you're hit with unbearable distorsion.

This cut leaves plenty to be desired, but I'm not sure the source material will allow much better tbh.

single, the album features the ambitious 9-minute ‘All Around The World’ plus evergreen classic ‘Stand By Me’, which is one of Oasis’ most streamed tracks. Did they just not remove the bass but the treble also has been cut, to the point that the album remaster sounds like an old cassette muffled tape with wimpy sound. The new anticipated remastering is something of such irresponsibility, non-professional, laughable and made by audio ignorant folks. To date, it has the most album sales in the first seven days of release in UK Official Chart history and has sold over 8 million copies globally. I've put on "All Around the World" on once at a party and was getting the looks asking "when will this end?

NG's 2016 Rethink) mix, this track does sound much better than the whole lot comprising of album and studio bonus tracks. For items that are dispatched using our standard service, we ask that you wait 14 days from the date of dispatch before reporting any items as undelivered. However, regarding the sound on my modest system, it’s not night and day with the 25th anniversary European pressing. i haven't heard the original UK creation pressing but it was cut DMM from the CD-ready digital file anyway, and i've got the original CD. A lot of questionable decisions were made in the production chain, starting from demo tapes with the drum machine burned in and ending in CDs that were clipped to hell and back, putting Metallica's Death Magnetic to shame. Magic Pie” and “Stand By Me” on the first vinyl and virtually all tracks on the second vinyl are on par with their earlier albums and well worth listening to.

I don't usually like remastered albums but this is the first time I've listened to one where the sound is worse in everything. I gave this version away free as ill never listen to it again but the 2009 repress will get regular spins. The detailing is also much clearer and the “mudiness” and massive loudness issues plaguing this album are much less significant than on the CD. Vocals on Magic Pie, Girl in the Dirty Shirt and the guitar on It's Getting Better Man are super hot. These are completely Japanese made and not made in the EU with an OBI for the Japanese market like some of the previous Oasis vinyl pressings. Basicaly just a cynical cheap shoddy money grab as we are used to the way we are treated in Britain in general.
