It was difficult at first reading the two voices in tandem but I don't think it would have had the same feel otherwise. I wanted to punch him and hug him at the same time – and I didn’t know which one I wanted to do first. In November 2021, Ant and Dec announced that they had written a children's book titled 'Propa Happy'. It was written very well, from both of their perspectives and was like having a conversation with them. I love ant and dec so one of my friends asked me to have this book because I was begging for a signed copy but they were hard to get because the book is two years old so she let me have her signed copy.
I like that the book was ‘told’ by them, they brought their usuals humour and wit to it and of course you can feel their friendship through each page. Finding out about the different aspects of TV production, while starring in Byker Grove, helped them with their future success.PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio. I could've finished it earlier but I have to stop a lot of times and watch the clips they're talking about, and sometimes, I have to watch it like 2-3 times because it's that good. In this chapter Ant and Dec talk about meeting various members of the British Royal Family at various moments in their career, and particularly HRH Prince Charles. This audiobook is just brilliant, the PDF photo book to accompany the storytelling is a wonderful touch and the nice surprising at the end of them reading this superbly written book is what really made me laugh. The Geordie duo are famously best friends but angry Dec said the scandal almost caused them to split up.
years in TV is an interesting concept for a book, and each chapter is themed around a different show, but only the greatest hits.The autobiography chronicles every part of their lives from growing up to finding love to their success and downfalls along the way. I’ve effectively ‘grown up’ with Ant and Dec, from watching them act on TV in their ‘Byker Grove’ days, through to their TV presenting on various shows to this day. By far my favourite celebs, two amazing guys whose friendship is amazing to see, which is why I got soooo excited when I heard this book was coming out and was ecstatic when it arrived on my doorstep!
I shouldn't have worried as there is a link to go to, with password and there is a PDF attached to the book itself via 'chapters' The boys also talk about each of the photos and ad-lib and laugh and joke about them too. Their book and their prerogative of course but it would be interesting to get some deeper insight into the shows in their career that didn't go so well. Byker Grove fans were over the moon in July 2023 when the pair announced plans to reboot the hit series! Despite the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Ant and Dec were able to present the 2020 series of I'm A Celebrity from Gwrych Castle in North Wales! I have this on my kindle but then I purchased this on audible, I’m so glad I did because it did not disappoint.I'm not usually particularly interested in celebrities lifestyles/memoirs, but this was a little cracker. when listening it's a great sense of their mentality and personality it feels like they are in the room with you, two friends going on about crazy stories and history. I recommend this book as it tells about the unique story of a couple of lads from Newcastle, UK who became best friends and business partners, and about their unique friendship. The book is titled ‘Propa Happy’ and proceeds will go to raising vital funds for children’s charity NSPCC ahead of its Childhood Day on 10th June 2022.
