Not only is Jordan Peterson a bad or to be more exact a pretend philosopher, he is also a bad human being. One of the 4 stanza poems is quite literally, “Dick’s dad is gay and flaunts it, this traumatizes dick to now that he is sexually abused in jail. It would appear Fogra is also infatuated with Peterson's politics, which is arguably worse than sexual.

Peterson has the gall to compare his work to the likes of Edward Gorey and Neil Gaiman but that is an absolute insult to their creative genius and consistent hard work. He describes this work as something he wrote to 'let off steam' while working with patients who were suffering as the result of these particular traumas which feels incredibly disrespectful. Twenty-six hauntingly beautiful portrayals of injustice and suffering, each from the gifted imagination of Juliette Fogra, illustrator of Beyond 12 More Rules of Life . He subsequently became involved in several public debates about the bill that received significant media coverage.

The art initially looked interesting, but I wonder where the photos are from: the Y page is a lift of a photo of Siouxsie Sioux (taken in Holland Park West London 1981). There is only one stanza per child, which is particularly disappointing because the talent and thematic potential for this being more highly rated is there. I'm really hoping none of this is lifted from real life kids, but at times it's too close for comfort. Then we have the letter A in the bottom left, and the poem itself acting like a footnote, like an afterthought, some fine print added as an afterthought.

The author-- a licensed psychologist from clown college-- clearly has a disdain for his patients, particularly youths, and secretly practices on the belief that they deserve the abuse they have endured.Reddit and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to provide you with a better experience. This man has psychology degrees yet slut shamed, victim blamed, made jokes and terribly written rhymes about CSA, couldn’t differentiate between rhyme and alliteration, and hyper fixated on abuse and children’s pain. The book itself, presented as an oversized hardcover, is a work of art not only as a specimen of the written word, but also as an example of the visual arts and even as a physical item.
