About this deal

This even extends to rival players, teams and managers (Rafa Benitez included) The ratio of people he praises and thanks compared to those he criticises is 10:1. The manner in which he transformed a dwindling brand into a global superpower is outstanding and this book gives an account of the various decisions that facilitated the change. I've always held him in very high regards from the very beginning in spite of him being a direct rival to my club ( Arsenal ). I’m privileged to have followed Sir Matt because all you have to do is to try and maintain the standards that he set so many years ago. Born in Glasgow in 1941, Sir Alex Ferguson was playing football at an international level as a school boy.

Khi kế hoạch A thất bại, Arsenal phải có kế hoạch B, và nếu kế hoạch B thất bại, phải có kế hoạch C. His distaste for the "young reporters who dressed more casually" is plain and he says that by the end he found it hard to have any relationship with the press.

He swaggered in, stuck his chest out, raised his head and surveyed everything as though he were asking: ‘I’m Cantona. Chapters 8 and 9 are dedicated to Cristiano Ronaldo and Roy Keane, in chapter 10 he talks about wine and horse racing followed by chapter 11 which is about Ruud van Nistelrooy. A whole chapter dedicated to Manchester City's title victory details how their Premier League success was difficult for Ferguson to stomach.Ferguson says the club was always going to be bought from the day it became a plc and, in a claim that will be met with incredulity by some United fans, insists their ownership model had no impact on his transfer dealings. Not quite as deep and as thorough as Managing My Life yet a thoroughly interesting read nonetheless and definitely worth the money spent. Having never read a football related biography before, I was rather curious about what would be inside. Ferguson also revealed the secret for his success – family support and an absolute passion for winning. When he took the charge of Man Utd back in 1990s Aston Villa has won the same number of trophies what United had.

The tell all book reveals what he thought about his players – he tears into Roy Keane, tells about his fallout with David Beckham. Their fall-out has become part of Old Trafford folklore and Ferguson traces it to the decline in Keane's on-field powers and the frustration he felt as a result.Photograph: Action Images, Getty Images and Tom Jenkins for the Guardian Clockwise from top left: Sir Alex Ferguson with former player Roy Keane, fans wearing masks depicting the Glazers, Wayne Rooney and David Beckham. captures the contradictions and battery-acid sourness of this complex personality just as eloquently as it elucidates his genius. But then came "Pizzagate", when Ferguson had a pizza thrown at him in the tunnel after a match against Arsenal in 2004.

Saya bisa menilai tulisan Sir Alex secara objektif sebab meskipun ditulis secara melompat-lompat, buku ini berisi pengalaman menarik tentang sisi lain MU yang tidak banyak diungkap ke publik. Sir Alex Ferguson, the fearsome Scot who after 26 years in charge of Manchester United stepped down as manager earlier this year has just released his latest autobiography, simply titled - My Autobiography. I haven't read that book yet, so I'm guessing that much of what's incomplete here is covered in that book.I was pleased to see that this book wasn't Managing My Life part II and for the most part only focused on the last 10 years of Sir Alex's career seeing as most of his life previous to that was covered in his first book. It was that bitter dispute, over Ferguson's right to a share in the horse's stud fees, that led directly to the Glazer takeover.
