About this deal
A solution of urea in water is used to treat exhaust gases and remove harmful pollutants, including nitrogen oxides (NOx), of which nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is the most harmful. Also, try to touch as few things as possible because the sticky residue AdBlue leaves easily transfers to other surfaces.
Other cars only need refilling with AdBlue when they’re serviced and, in these cars, the filler cap is usually under the boot floor. A diesel Volkswagen Passat, for instance, takes about 8,000 miles to empty its 13-litre AdBlue tank. AdBlue goes into a tank underneath your car and is injected into the exhaust system to remove NOx from the exhaust gases.AdBlue is a fluid made from urea and water – urea is an organic compound found in the urine and blood of mammals. AdBlue ® is used to remove harmful Nitrous Oxide (NOx) emissions from the exhaust gas of diesel engines which are fitted with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) after-treatment systems.
If there is debris in your AdBlue® container, dispose of the AdBlue® and container and purchase a new one.
It is a more sustainable, higher quality Diesel fuel, suitable for all Diesel-powered vehicles and industrial powered generators. If your vehicle is a coach or a truck, you would benefit from purchasing a larger volume from an IBC or a barrel.
