About this deal

Nicole Snow does it again with her latest offering in the Bossy Seattle Suits. Miles Cromwell arrives at the door to Jennifer Lander’s’ deceased grandmother’s B&B firmly believing he will make her an offer for the property, she will accept and he will have his peace, quiet and unobstructed view. I mean, he’s Miles Cromwell and no one ever refuses him. 😂 She refuses, repeatedly, and he finds himself intrigued as to why a young up and comer with Winthrope would want to refurbish and reopen a money pit like Bee Harbor. Both of them, unknowingly, shared a This didn’t need to be as long as it is. I skimmed a lot of it and then at 90% I just skipped to the end. It was too syrupy, corny, cliche and angsty. snow spent 60% of the book on the enemies storyline but was not able in all of those words to create genuine chemistry between the lead characters. She wasted more time than any human with a life would put up with writing the I can/can’t, i will/won’t, I do/don’t. Nope, No, no thanks. I was over both of the leads and their unrealistic fear of love and all the side stories. For me it was exhausting and finally boring. I’m recommending it because I know a bunch of readers will just eat this up. Trying not to be a hater but really by the end of this I wanted to give it no stars. As Miles is introduced he is an emotionally closed off cynic, yet has the heart of an artist. The fact that Jenn’s dogs love him is enough for me to stay in his corner no matter how much I want to shake him sometimes! Although he is the CEO of a huge media firm his fumbling attempts at personal communication with Jenn are often cringe worthy. But, you just can’t help hoping he can do better next time.

One Bossy Proposal - L.M. Mountford

Piper Renee, twenty-four, is a bird geek. She might be mature for her age, but birds never fail to bring out the kid in her. She always maintains a positive outlook despite the responsibility she shoulders. Her mother walked out ten years ago, leaving Piper to step up as a substitute mother figure for her sister Maisy, who was just seven at the time, as well as look out for her ailing father. Piper can’t be away from home for long since someone needs to look after their father. Rather than take a 9 to 5 job and be tied down every day, she has used her resourcefulness to make her own way in the world. She earned a bachelor’s degree in media relations and put her knowledge to work. She combines her brains and beauty, building channels and marketing her content. As a social media influencer, she gets paid to do what she loves – travel. She hopes to travel the world, but since getting away is complicated, much of her travels are limited to B&Bs and cabins in the Pacific Northwest. I love the cover! The male on the cover has been on a few covers from other authors I love and he does all the covers justice! Joe is such a nice guy and I love how his beautiful face is showing up everywhere. He makes a great muse for Lincoln. I am intrigued by Wyatt Emory and Meadow and fingers crossed there will be a book about them in the future. I would love to know more about their story and where Wyatt fits in with the Heart’s Edge crew. I love that series and it’s one of my favorites. I also would love to see if there will be a book about Eliza. Miles and Jenn have insane chemistry, so it doesn’t take long before their hatred turns to passion. But Cromwell-Narada has a strict non-fraternization policy, so a workplace romance is forbidden despite Jenn’s contractor status. And when a mysterious woman from Miles’s past comes to town, things get complicated. Miles isn’t accustomed to opening up, and Simone Niehaus infuriates him so much he just shuts down. He will never forgive her, even if his mother’s death wasn’t really her fault. But trust is shattered between Miles and Jenn, and soon his company is imploding. Simone Niehaus is set on destroying him, and he wont let Jenn get caught in the crosshairs no matter the cost. The couple faces several challenges, but they eventually find their happy ending. I almost didn't finish this. It was ... not good. This is the kind of cheese that made me abstain from any romance books until very recently.Fans will be delighted as they come across a handful of crossover references to other books by the author. The "witty banter" was in fact, not witty at all. It was a bit cringe-inducing and to be honest, if I had a new hire speak to me the way Poe continued to speak to Lincoln, she would've been fired the first week. I tired of the cinnamon roll jokes in the first two chapters as well as the constant references to her last name, Poe. To Jenn, Miles comes off as a pushy bossy HOT rich guy and that ignites her snarly side. These two are like two bulldogs constantly going after each other. Jenn goes toe to toe with Miles. She is the force of nature Miles needs in his life. He doesn’t communicate with people he just demands and never explains. In addition, he has been burned by a really bad relationship and suffers from guilt and the fear of being taken again. Miles doesn’t trust himself with the feelings he has for Jenn. This book was more than just Enemy to lovers. This had office romance, sexy neighbor, grandmother interference, grumpy billionaire and sunshine. Another fantastic story in the Bossy Grumps series. In this one we meet Miles and Jenn. Her friends call her Jenn, he has to call her Ms Landers~~until he slips and calls her kitten. She calls him Dracula, he's beyond bossy and a true workaholic. And gorgeous!! My boss is a big softie. He doesn’t scare me — not much — I just like doing things right,” she whispers, tracing my jaw with her finger. We didn't exactly hit it off when he showed up with an offer to buy my land and my hyperactive dogs yanked my robe open right in front of him.In this book, we have a neighbor's spat. It's a CEO versus a girl who just inherited her grandmother's Bed and Breakfast in a small town. Said CEO makes a generous offer on the property, but girl doesn't want to sell. They butt heads. She ends up working for him because she needs the money for repairs. Some crazy stuff goes down. We find out there's more to our grumpy CEO than meets the eye. Okay, so it's actually a very standard trope for this type of book, but it was so good. And the end? Oh my gosh! I loved the end. I thought it was going to turn out that way when it started, but when my suspicions were confirmed was was bouncing up and down. It was really cute. What type of language is this? I understand the novel in contemporary, but does that mean the book has to be written with such garbled and busy language?

The book just doesn't mention why he is seemingly an only child, has no mother, no uncles or aunts. Just a dad who apparently died three years prior. Why?! Who knows! It was fun from the beginning to the end. Miles and Jennifer's banters are hilarious and funny and those two dobermans too cute. Their chemistry is off the chart and steamy. close loving relationship with Lottie and Miles is the only one that can truly make Cream and Coffee, Gram’s Dobermans mind. He finally finds himself hiring her marketing expertise to help whip his marketing team into shape and revive Pinnacle Point’s sagging tourism trade. They find themselves drawn to each other with her beginning to thaw towards him and then him turning cold and retreating behind his icy wall of restraint. As they begin to find themselves truly falling for each other an enemy from his past looms and Miles refuses to open up and let Jenn help him with what turns out to be a massive smear campaign from the ultimate “woman scorned”. Months and tears and Jenn’s dogged investigation skills help them to finally reunite. Pretend we're engaged. Smile for pretty photos like we're soulmates. Dress up like we're actually getting married. When Eliza shows up one morning at the Seventh Street Wired Cup location for a cup of coffee and to chat with her favorite barista, Wayne, she is appalled by the way his manager speaks to him, and when she has finally heard enough, she gives that manager a piece of her mind. If you are looking for a story with just the right amount humour, angst, frustration, disappointment, intrigue, happiness, love, smoking hot chemistry and one of THE best grovels then this is the book for you! OMG! To say I love this story is an understatement! What a ride! I am not going to spoil it, but this is one Fantastic Read! Every time I read Nicole Snow’s romance books, I know I am in for an emotional rollercoaster. Eliza inadvertently interferes between a meeting of a local barista, and the CEO of the coffee shop. They trade insulting words, and almost cause the barista to get fired. Eliza has accidentally left a sample of her home brewed coffee at the table, and Cole loves the flavor. Inheriting a bad-tempered boss brings the sweetest insanity in this roaring funny and shamelessly steamy grumpy-sunshine romance from Wall Street Journal bestselling author Nicole Snow.
