With the launch of the miniDSP DDRC-24, the Dirac Live® room correction solution became available in a highly compact hardware unit. The DDR-24 DAC DSP is powered by a 400 MHz Analog Devices SHARC processor and retains the 4-channel output of its sister unit, the miniDSP 2x4 HD boxed hereby allowing for applications like subwoofer integration or even 2-way loudspeakers together with Dirac Live® room correction in a single tiny hardware platform. The DDRC-24 is an all-in-one unit with USB DAC + Dirac Live Room Correction + Speaker processing. The Flex Eight has USB audio, S/PDIF (RCA and optical) and Bluetooth (LDAC/aptX) stereo digital inputs. An OLED front panel display and volume control/encoder knob provides easy control. Last but not least, it is easily software-upgradable with Stereo Dirac Live® for full range correction (20~20kHz), the world’s premiere room correction system.
