The dice has interchangeable pieces, meaning that you can mix the rules up. Perhaps you will decide to only move walls and not hedges or vice versa. This means that no two games will ever be the same.

Minotaurus on ensimmäisiä Suomeen ehtineitä Legon lautapelejä. Peli pääsi Vuoden peli -kisassa finaaliin lastenpelien sarjassa. Lego-pelien viehätyksestä iso osa tulee siitä, että peli rakennetaan itse Lego-palikoista. Lisäksi pelit kannustavat pelaajia muuttamaan sääntöjä ja pelin osia. Pelaajien on päästävä labyrintin keskellä olevaan temppeliin. Sitä vartioi kuitenkin pelottava minotaurus, joka jahtaa armotta labyrinttiinsä tulevia tunkeilijoita. Onnekkain pelaaja selviää tehtävästä ensimmäisenä, mutta varo: labyrintin seinät voivat liikkua. On a players turn, they will roll the custom six-sided die. This game is visually interesting which will make it immediately appealing to my little geeks. The fact that they get to move the monster and shift the board will also be a big hit. Lastly, the simple roll-and-move mechanic will not be too demanding or throw any real surprises at them. Kyllä Legoissa joku juttu on. Pelin rakentaminen oli hauskaa ja pelaamisessakin on jotain ekstrakivaa, kiitos Legojen. Ilman Lego-efektiä tällaisestä pelistä tuskin innostuisi, mutta Legojen ansiosta Minotaurus viehätti heti. En sitten tiedä, kuinka pitkäikäistä tämä viehätys on. As the Minotaur, you capture another figure by moving so that your go would include going over the space that the figure is on.  When another player throws grey, they can take over being Minotaur, and move it from where it stopped on the board (rather than having to start from the centre again). The game, like all LEGO games, is comprised entirely of LEGO pieces that you must build before you play. The rules to build the game are easy to follow and provide a fun opportunity for you and your little geeks to work together. Expect about 10 to 15 minutes to build the game from scratch. After that, only minor corrections are needed to reset the board for game set up.Peli on melko nopeasti ohi. Voiton vie onnekkain, taidolla ei tämän pelin kanssa ole liiemmälti tekemistä. You are there to outwit it, and show off your cunning. Nopan harmaa sivu antaa pelaajan siirrellä seiniä. Laudalla on valmiiksi irtonaisia harmaita seiniä ja laudan reunoilla on lisäseiniä, joita voi tuoda peliin. Seinillä voi tukkia toisten pelaajien reittejä. Kokonaan toista pelaajaa ei saa eristää, mutta parikin hyvin sijoitettua muuria tuo matkaan lisäpituutta mukavasti.

There are no rules as to the design of the maze so it can be rebuilt to your own design or enlarged if you have pieces of your own. The first person to get all three of their figures (or at least, the most figures) to the centre of the maze wins.LEGO games are highly customizable. For example, the instruction manual provides several different rule variants (jumping over “hedges” by replacing the #3 with a green square) to make the game more challenging. I have even seen others create much larger labyrinths for epic play! There is even a thriving mod community for LEGO games where others can share their ideas on improving, changing, or even making a brand new game. When you get this game, you get more than what is in the box. Add to it with other LEGO pieces, make your own rules, and customize it! In the case of this game, the building is fairly straight forward – you are building low walls around the sides of the board, and some walls inside the board, which form the maze itself. The players must lead their heroes to the center of the ever shifting and changing labyrinth before the Minotaur catches them!
