About this deal

The 1993 fantasy/comedy Hocus Pocus, which was directed by Kenny Ortega and starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the three evil Sanderson sisters, is a favorite among millennials. Hocus Pocus is beloved by Halloween enthusiasts all over the world. Diving once more into the world of witches, this electrifying two-part young adult novel, released on the twenty-fifth anniversary of the 1993 film, marks a new era of Hocus Pocus. Fans will be spellbound by a fresh retelling of the original film, followed by the all-new sequel that continues the story with the next generation of Salem teens.

Or they are not allowed to make the cover with the eye due to reasons unknown perhaps they are going to make a book with the eye in the future. There were three versions of the book created for the film - One with the eye open, one with the eye closed, and one with a remote-controlled eyeball. All three versions are stored in the Disney Archives. The Spellbook is an evil magic book owned and used by the Sanderson Sisters ( Winnie, Mary and Sarah) to create potions and cast spells, and it plays a major antagonistic role in the 1993 live-action Disney movie Hocus Pocus. It is generally just referred to by Winnie as Book. All Hallows Eve is coming up, and the spooky season has arrived. Test out some Hocus Pocus spells and potions from your three favorite witches from Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2 to see if you're prepared for the most magical day of the year. The book's actual history seemed to be much more complicated; while its ties with the Devil being unmistakable, the spellbook apparently had been passed down throughout generations of witches. Sanderson sisters happened to be latest heirs of the book, having inherited it from their predecessor, an evil enchantress they met and subsequently became their mentor shortly after their exile from Salem, on Winnie's 16th birthday.

Tis time! 2018 marks the 25th anniversary of the spooktacular film Hocus Pocus. To celebrate the occasion, prepare thyselves to view some of the most bewitching props and costumes from the Walt Disney Archives collection. Don’t be frightened; remember “…it’s just a bunch of hocus pocus!”Why is the cover so bland and nothing at all reminiscent of the actual book in the film? If it wasn't for the Disney logo I would think it was to do with an off brand, fan made, unofficial book to do with the franchise. (That being said a fan made version would of been better) However, they did not die due to the curse protecting them from death until sunrise. Knowing they don't have much time left, Winifred tried to make the potion from memory, but she can't remember the ingredients and called out to the spellbook, crying in despair.

After the deaths of the Sanderson Sisters, the Book was last seen in the witches' cottage, opening its eye, and presumably remained there. Why not give this job to an actual fan who would of been paid in peanuts to do this job properly and not write so many inaccuracies that it seems like fanfiction.

This cursed spellbook was said to be given to Winifred "Winnie" Sanderson by The Devil himself. It is bound in human skin, it contains the recipes for her most powerful and evil spells. The book has a human eye on the front cover, and often sleeps, only waking to the sound of its mistress who dotes on and cherishes it, meaning the book is alive and, on some level, intelligent. The Spellbook shares a similar trait with the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis (also known as the Naturom Demonto and the Book of the Dead) from the Evil Dead film franchise for both ungodly magic tomes are bound in human flesh.
