If you have an outdoor cat that doesn't use a litter tray, you may need to put them under house arrest for a few days to collect their sample. Use the same technique as above but be vigilant for accidents elsewhere. How does a vet get a urine sample from a cat? Put the sample in your sample pot and label it with your name, your cat's name and the time and date it was collected.
