Bristan make their showers to work on a pressure ratio of 5:1 (like most companies) so unequal pressure problems will only normally pop up if your gravity hot cold mains. The sink basin in the same bathroom runs hot water as expected. I took some temperature readings as recommended by Bristan with the combi-boiler set to 60deg C. I then took a digital thermometer and have measured the sink to be 55 deg C (scalding to touch). Meanwhile the faulty shower temperature is at 32 deg C. Consistent showering temperature is provided. The temperature stabilising device compensated for changes in the water pressure caused by other household fittings.
