Seeing how Mina and the witch were so awkward and tense in the beginning, and just seeing their relationship slowly become something more was just so beautiful. I did like seeing how all the secrets unravelled it just made me so interested in the story. I honestly didn't realised how much i would enjoy this book and just how connected i did feel to Mina and the witch. Blumwald is a town with a curse. Every fifty years or so, she comes to claim a man of the town and he is never seen again. No one knows what happens except that they're gone forever. The best review of this book I can give is that I read it in the bath and was so obsessed I didn't get out til the water was stone cold.
