Babyzen doesn’t have a bumper bar as an official accessory and for me, that was a downside as my kids love pulling on it. As you can see we have a bumper bar and lots of people wonder how it works and where did we get it from. It’s been previously made of foam before the update arrived and some people might find it odd, but honestly, I never had issues and we’ve been through the rainy and snowy weather with it. Folding & Unfolding The TRVL self-folds in a single one-handed motion, allowing you to hold your baby while the stroller does the work for you. The Nuna TRVL and Babyzen YOYO2 are among the top-performing travel strollers for both maneuverability and comfort, thanks to features like all-wheel suspension and a multi-position recline. In the US, Yoyo harness requires a different release button, but you can remove the top strap and make it a 3-point harness, which is what we mostly use when the kids are small. Travel or compact strollers don’t recline the same way as Vista, because it literally reclines the seat, not just changes its position so the it’s not going to be the same mechanism. Although the recline on those strollers are ultimately much more comfortable for the child than Vista because it’s flatter. But, fast forward 2 months later after our Uppababy Vista getting broken twice by the airlines and waiting 45min at the gate for the stroller collection at Amsterdam airport because our Cybex Eezy S Twist wouldn’t fit in the cabin I decided I needed a lightweight stroller for travel that fits in the cabin of ALL airlines and aircrafts.
Nuna TRVL vs. Babyzen YOYO2 Accessories
My older son has used the Yoyo here and there and he still fits under the canopy just fine at 41.5 inches tall (105cm), so while the seat isn’t as tall as on some other strollers it doesn’t matter.

If you don’t find any use for the bumper bar, feel free to remove it as it gets in the way, especially when folding (some bars can also be folded down along with the stroller). Keep in mind that just because someone says “I took this stroller on board and it fit” isn’t an indication that a stroller will fit in the overhead for you. Different airlines have different size restrictions so if your stroller exceeds them the crew has the right to say no or might let it slide (but then it’s also not guaranteed that the stroller will actually fit in the bin). Better get the smaller fold and be safe than sorry and stressed later! The catch? The TRVL is only compatible with Nuna infant car seats, so you can't attach any other brands. Unfolding of Bugaboo Butterfly is super easy as it expands smoothly. With a bit of a push from your arm, the stroller will expand. After a few tries, the stroller will usually expand smoothly.

It’s not the bumper bar you’re used to it, because it’s soft and foldable. You can roll it like a snake and it unrolls before you clip it into the stroller. My son can still hold onto it and it works fine, but… unfortunately, the stroller doesn’t fold with it. I found the same issue with Joolz Aer which was super disappointing and the biggest con.

It provides you with one more means to keeps your little one occupied when out for a stroller. The little one can play with the toys on the bar, or he can push it, pull it.

The YOYO is closest to the carry-on requirement size of airlines like Delta and American (22" x 14" x 9"). If you’re looking for a stroller for only occasional trips and don’t want to spend that much – I get it. It can be a pro, but also a con as adjustable things are naturally more prone to loosening up and wobbling. There’s been a huge buzz surrounding Bugaboo Butterfly as it’s been a highly advertised stroller and appeared to be one of the best-designed strollers from Bugaboo. Many people are debating getting Bugaboo Butterfly vs Babyzen Yoyo (or the new Nuna Trvl), so I had to see what the fuss what about – despite being satisfied with our Babyzen Yoyo.In the battle over which stroller is smallest, lightest and easiest to use, the Babyzen YOYO2 and Nuna TRVL have emerged as two of the top competitors. Otherwise, the YOYO offers more accessory options, including two types of bassinets, a ride-along board for a toddler, and weather gear like a footmuff or parasol. Nuna TRVL Accessories The bassinet is a great solution that very few compact travel strollers offer, so it’s a great feature to have as we all know that babies shouldn’t be stuffed in car seats outside of the car for extended periods of time. Joolz Aer Buggy Board It folds & unfolds incredibly well with one hand and the seat is sturdy and tall, plus has a ton of storage which is a huge plus for a travel stroller.
