The sound quality is good and loud enough in this price range. The Life A3i does not provide severe bass. In terms of sound quality, it can’t compare to expensive wireless earbuds like Sony WF-1000XM3, Bose QuietComfort wireless earbuds, or also Sennheiser Momentum true wireless 2 as well. But the lows, mids, and highs are well balanced. However; the one advantage is the Life A3i offers preset 22 equalizers, you can choose and try the sound you like. After EQ improvements, I’d say overall that the A3i sound is decent for its price-point, but not best in class. EQ tweaking can only do so much. The overall sound was still a little thin, hissy, and sibilant, and if I tried to minimize that it seemed to come with an unavoidable tradeoff of hollow boxyness, and this tends to happen in general with tuning mid-highs up or down. The overall tone was just not quite there like it would be with premium earbuds. You can also customize the sound profiles for different activities, so you can have the perfect sound for whatever you’re doing. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices. Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling There are also soundscapes with different types of ambient sounds to help with sleep. Anker has also released the LÜM music service which features a ton of very talented artists. It also features battery level indicators to help you keep tabs on when it’s time to charge your earbuds. All in all, though, for the price, the overall noise attenuation of the A3i is very good and these are definitely ideal for non-expensive commuter use. You can also customise the button controls. Does the Anker Soundcore Life A1 stay connected?
Although not all of their headphones support this codec, a couple of their latest headphones, like the Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro Truly Wireless, support LDAC, designed for Hi-Res audio. Support for this codec is also uncommon in truly wireless headphones. The A3i is advertised as a bassy earbud, with “oversized” 10mm drivers, and Soundcore earbuds already tend to trend towards being bassy in my experience, so I kind of had an expectation of what kind of sound I would get and indeed that’s what I got.

One thing that the Life P3i doesn’t have, is multi-connection. You can’t connect 2 Bluetooth devices at the same time. You need to disconnect one to connect the another. Mostly this feature has in the expensive wireless earbuds like Jabra Elite 7 active or Jabra Elite 7 Pro. Strong and stable within a distance up to 10 meters away from your Bluetooth devices. But some that I feel disappointed, the multipoint connection is not available. That means can’t connect these cheap wireless earbuds to two devices at the same time, which is like many Anker Soundcore wireless earbuds. And as always, the Soundcore provides three different sizes of ear tips: small, medium, and large. The medium size is a perfect fit for my ears. I highly recommend you try and choose one size that best fits your ears. These affect the sound quality, and noise cancellation, being close-fitting in the ears shape and not easy for fall out. The charging case has a sturdy lid and the overall material is look quality. Their size is normal, not big and not too small. There is a LED light on the front of the case, which indicates the remaining power of the case. Normally, the LED light is white and it will be red when it is less than 10% of the power. These comfortable and well-built buds have a warm sound profile out of the box, but you can finetune their sound to suit your tastes using their companion app's graphic EQ and presets. You can also use the app to switch to LDAC codec to stream Hi-Res content. That said, their mic has poor recording quality. The mic captures speech which sounds far away and sibilant, which can be a dealbreaker if you take a lot of calls. However, if you're just looking to listen to music, these wallet-friendly earbuds are worth a look.
