All the more so when it’s by Mike Gayle, whom you can always depend upon for an emotional, escapist read. I usually love Mike Gayle’s writing, but my reaction to A Song Of Me & You exceeds that descriptor. It’s an utterly wonderful book, being both uplifting and heartbreaking.
