Visually it's just insane how good this thing looks. I got it on a late night lightning deal so the price was right as well. The Color Gamut test evaluates the color space coverage of the display panel from industry standards including sRGB and AdobeRGB. Higher percentage is better. It's overall a good monitor. The adjustable stand is definitely nice to have. The colors are really good, but can get easily messed up with the OSD settings. The included DP cable is good and works at 1440p 144Hz. It runs fairly cool and doesn't burn your face. Also, the three year warranty is great considering some companies only do one year. The built in speakers are terrible. The other ViewSonic display right next to it has really decent speakers for built in, and I use them when I don't have the full sound system turned on. But the speakers on this XG2705-2K are terrible. Hi Eko, this should be decent but still not a direct replacement for monitors or displays made for such applications. That said, get a display calibration tool of your own if you’re planning to get this one for that purpose. Disclosure: ViewSonic sent this unit as a seed sample for the purpose of this review. Pixel response times on the ViewSonic XG2705-2K are excellent so there is no need to worry about blurring and persistence. The screen barely shows any trailing or artifacts, so you don’t need to use too much overdrive to enjoy it. We recommend using its middle setting at the most since pushing it too much will induce overshoot. Peak brightness is rated at 328.9cd/m2. Around ~20cd/m2 shy from the specifications. Contrast Ratio

Display and Performance
The ViewSonic XG2705-2K is a FreeSync monitor but it also works with Nvidia’s G-Sync Compatible mode. This is an essential feature that basically doesn’t strap you down with one GPU brand when you upgrade. Input lag sits at 4ms at 144Hz, so there is no need to worry about delays while enjoying your fast-paced titles.
