Super Smash Bros. Melee is where the whole Super Smash Bros. franchise really began to build up the reputation and name it holds today. While it is the second game in the series, the greater number of playable fighters and stages, the addition of adventure and all-star modes, and the tournament version that allows 64 human characters to battle four at a time made this a fast favorite among Nintendo fans. Sunshine was always going to have big boots to fill after the m mammoth success of SM64, but it did it with ease. Now, with an improved look, gamers can experience all of the same Mario action in a new location to the Mushroom Kingdom wherever they are. I've tried several times, but I've never advanced past a couple of hours. I guess I don't enjoy it. Maybe the level design is no good for me? I feel bad because I loved 1 and 2, and I feel like it's my fault that I don't enjoy 3, not the game's. Great list. Overall. I've got 2 game cubes under my bed but my new style TV wont allow me to connect it. Only allows for HDMI. Modern tech, eh 🙄. Its such a shame the wii U couldn't play cube games. Kirby Air Ride not being on this list is criminal. Also seriously disagree with Metroid Prime 2 being as low as it is (it's personally my favorite Metroid game).

Never has a feeling in my life been reciprocated than when i was in toys r us & the smash bros. Melee demo was there and I was able to play Pirncess Zelda. Pretty good list, I remember saving up money just for Soul Caliber 2 on GC just to play as link, My top will always be SSBM though tbh since I spent years playing that game even after the GCN wasn't a new console anymore Find secrets, complete extra challenges, and untangle the mystery of what brought your world to the brink of ruin. No matter the obstacle, your curious cube is determined to keep rolling. The penultimate spot in our best GameCube games on Switch goes to two Gauls who have the gall to go up against Caesar and the Roman Empire at every turn.In this series, fans get to choose from a number of popular Nintendo characters to be their fighter and go head-to-head with other Nintendo faves. What's fascinating about this game is how it surprises you at every turn: first you're surviving a zombie onslaught while you're barricaded in a house with nowhere to run. Then you're fighting an enemy that only responds to sound, making gunshots potentially deadly for you. And then the game throws a new enemy type called regenerators at Leon, and they can only be killed by using a thermal imaging scope to seek out their organs and sniping them.The Nintendo Switch version takes things one step further by adding a new challenge mode and some cool overlays to get you even more in the Mega Man mood.
