About this deal

The game was played in exactly the same manner as the original Monopoly game but its game elements were based on various facets of the " Prime Universe" of Star Trek: The compact game makes it easy to transport and take along to your next game night. Adjustable Difficulty Levels Cards previously known as "Chance" and "Community Chest" were revised to " Sensor Readings" and " Subspace Transmission", respectively. I have 140 - 21/4x21/4 original negatives of artwork from the Original Star Trek The Motion Picture 1979 for sale. The final two versions, sadly, were never released. But still, at least I can kind of get the intended wormhole action to work to work between the two boards I have.

Instead of the standard Monopoly tokens, players use tokens representing baseball-related items, such as a baseball glove, a baseball bat, a baseball cap, a pitcher's mound, or a baseball.Although the gameplay is the same as Monopoly the contents i.e. the game board, game pieces, game money, property title cards, chance cards and community chest are all designed to keep with the theme of the five Star Trek series. As a lover of Star Trek and board games, this was a pleasure to report on. I thoroughly enjoyed every last second and can attest that each game will provide you with hours upon hours of pure joy. Let’s face it, do you know anyone who doesn’t enjoy a good old-fashioned game of Monopoly? I certainly don’t. But, for Monopoly fans who are into the Star Trek franchise, this is a game lover’s dream. The only obvious let down is that the buildings described as fleets and starships remain respectfully as hotels and houses. You can play this game yourself if you wish, but it’s much better to play in groups. It makes an excellent corporate game and will break the ice at any gathering. Extended Gameplay

In this custom edition Monopoly, nearly every element of the game has been redesigned: Properties, Money, Houses, Hotels, Community Chest, Chance, Utilities, Railroads, Tokens. Instead of the old stand-by tokens you’ll have your choice of Vulcan Harp, Phaser, Communicator, Klingon Blood Wine Goblet, Shuttlecraft, or Captain’s Chair. The Captain’s Chair is Kirk’s not Pike’s. Still awesome, but well… who wouldn’t want to be Captain Pike? Still, the game includes 22 properties from the complete Star Trek Continuum. Buy, Sell, and Trade properties from homeworlds like Vulcan, Andoria, and Cardassia Prime. Starships stand in for Railroads. You get the idea. Whether you’re a seasoned Trekkie or a curious cadet, you can enjoy this game. Either way, it will grab you, engage your inner nerd, and spark your competitive spirit. Usability Whether you’re a seasoned Trekkie or a newbie to the Star Trek universe, you’ll have so much fun with these board games you’ll feel transported to outer space from the blast-off. Compared with earlier editions, the layout of the board was altered to resemble most post-2008 versions of the standard Monopoly set. Consequently, the lowest-valued properties were colored brown instead of purple and the "Tax" spaces were appended to flat 200 and 100 values, rather than the earlier "10% or 200" and "75" amounts, respectively. With this awesome game, you’ll feel right in the heart of the Star Trek universe; from iconic starship designs to rich lore, all aspects of the game are specifically crafted to offer a captivating experience. Endless Tactical Possibilities I loved the artwork and imagery that reflect the Star Trek theme with this version of the much-loved Monopoly. They captured the show’s essence while maintaining the game’s classical elements. Key Features This recreation is officially authorized to be a replica of the iconic game you’ll know from the Star Trek franchise and deserves pride and place in any collector’s game cabinet. Great Fun: This game gave my family and me hours of fun. It brought us together to enjoy both Monopoly and Star Trek elements.Board Star Trek Continuum Edition Monopoly was a board game that was produced by USAopoly and debuted in April 2009. The third of four Star Trek-themed Monopoly editions produced by the company, it was the first to use content from the Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise series. As a passionate gamer and fan fanatic of Star Wars, I was blown away by the immersive experience this game provides. The attention to detail was second-to-none, even in the game pieces. The money was designed to represent different denominations of gold-pressed latinum, although it was of a different design than the bills included with the Star Trek: The Next Generation Collector's Edition Monopoly. The game can appear quite intricate, especially for people unfamiliar with such technical games. However, the rule book takes you through everything step-by-step. Solo or Team Game

I know your Monopoly collection is getting huge by now; GeekAlerts has shown you several collectible versions: Nightmare Before Christmas and Doctor Who. We just thought you might want to see this Star Trek Monopoly game and decide for yourself if you want to add it to the collection. It has all the great captains from all the Star Trek eras on it: Captain James T. Kirk (my favorite), Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Captain Benjamin Sisko, Captain Kathryn Janeway and Captain Jonathan Archer. This is great way to enjoy monopoly, as long as you don’t argue all night over who was the best captain. Instead of the standard Monopoly tokens, players use tokens representing NFL team logos or football-related symbols. Price: Some may consider this too expensive for a game. However, viewing it as a collector’s piece, you can see its value. This is a really cool option to make your interior more special or just fresh. I also used posters for… Roll on a few years and some genius decided that it'd be a good idea to start selling more versions of Monopoly. When you sat down and thought about it, there are loads of other things that can be adapted to fit a Monopoly board. The problem with a lot (actually, all) of them is that the designers didn't change the game board much at all. The picture in the middle of the board changed, sure, but the bit where the game pieces went round looked almost identical. The corner pieces were exactly the same and ruined the whole experience.
