Nice video, I got a question. I have a 4bay nas synology, can I mix my 16tb enterprise with my 10tb iron wolf? Standard Itonwolf dries have a 300TB annual workload, Ironwolf Pro can take 300TB a year and the new Seagate Ironwolf Pro NT series can reach take 550TB of writing per year There’s a little more to it, for example the Seagate – IronWolf Pro includes **Rescue Data Recovery Services.**Join the Inner Circle? Across the range of capacities of Seagate Ironwolf Pro and the new Ironwolf Pro NT versions, the new NT version is around 15-30MB/s faster on reported sequential performance (likely higher in typical ad-hoc use)Ok that makes sense. thank you for the informative video. Have been binding on your videos for the last few days. time to get a new storage solution.

if you are still going around in circles and need direct consultation, we have just started providing one-hour consultations via zoom. You can find out more about them via the link below: Includes 2 Year Rescue Data Recovery Plan in the event of mechanical, accidental or natural disaster Are the consumer drives expected to last longer since the enterprise drives are expected to be replaced every few years?Production: QNAP TVS-1282T3-i7-64G, 8x Seagate Ironwolf Pro 16TB, 2x Samsung 860EVO 2TB M.2, Corsair H5 SF watercooling, Corsair SF450W PSU and Noctua NF-8A PWM 80mm fans The Seagate Ironwolf NT series arrives with a reported 2.5 Miliion hours MTBF vs the 1 Million on standard Ironwolf Pro drives Maak een einde aan de kosten en complexiteit van het opslaan, verplaatsen en activeren van gegevens op schaal. I started buying Enterprise drives a decade ago and couldn’t be happier. They have been very, very reliable. Its all about speed if your running a buisness who gives a shit if you need to spend a further 5k to get 10gbe with ssd or nvme with 10gbe nas.. Mech drives are 10 year old tech which are ok if you raid them but you need a nas with 5gbe or 10gbe to be serious. Oh look Nas makes 2.5be a standard, like 10 years too late. Ive run mech NAs drives for over 10 years they alway corrupt.. soon as i went sdd or NVme with 500-1000mps zero errors in 3 years.
