One small gripe was the size of the buds - the set is a little bulky for our liking. Though great for most activities, its size makes them not an ideal choice to wear when lying down or sleeping. Put the earbuds into the charging case and close for 10 seconds. Then open the case to try pairing again. Confirm the charging case has power left (press the button on the case and see if a LED is illuminated). Apart from all this, we appreciate the earbuds' amped-up bass and the fact the set is IPX7 waterproof. In fact, they’re resistant to sweat, rain, and water, making it an excellent choice for active and outdoorsy folks, too! What we don’t like about Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo: Considering their price, the headphones also offer a surprisingly good fit and stable connection. The latter is largely down to the use of Bluetooth 5.0, the former a result of the impressive array of tip options Anker has supplied with the Liberty Neo.The earbuds will also turn off automatically when the earbuds are outside the case, not being worn, and have been disconnected from your device for 30 minutes. (The auto power off time can be customized in the soundcore app.) However, the audio completely cuts after the second wall. But at that point, you are probably on the other side of the house, so the connection stability is on par with the competition. Overall, we felt it was easy to use them, pair them, put them in, and wear them, with overall comfort being one of the sets' strong suits! Battery lifeBeing a bit older of a device, there are already cheaper options available that perform better in most, if not, some areas in comparison to the Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo. Undoubtedly one of the best features of this set of earbuds is its price. The set comes with a pair of buds, a charging case, and a charging cable, as well as four ear tips and four ear wings. You’ll feel as if you got your money’s worth from the Neos, plus a little extra! Mind you - there are much bigger earbuds on the market - but the Liberty Neo just isn't as small as it looks.
