About this deal

And the fact that it's cordless? Oh, it's like being free to roam the pitch and make my moves without any limitations. I can take it with me wherever I go, whether I'm training on the field or traveling to an away game.

NeilMed Sinugator Cordless Pulsating Nasal Wash keeps your nasal allergies at bay by providing you with a simple way to flush out any dust or irritants that cause sneezing, itching, and a runny nose. The pulsating action of the Sinugator helps to clean and clear my nasal passages like nothing else I have ever used. It's like I can feel my sinuses opening up, allowing me to breathe more freely and with more ease. It's truly remarkable how effective it is. Wash hands and fill the clear blue reservoir with 240 ml (8fl oz) of distilled, micro filtered (0.2 micron), commercially bottled or previously boiled & cooled down water at lukewarm or body temperature. Do not use tap or faucet water for dissolving the mixture unless it has been previously boiled and cooled down. Repeating the process for each nostril is fine except, as mentioned, this machine has to be kept upright to ensure that all the contents goes where it is needed.

I know that I have mentioned it but it is important not to use tap water but to use pre-boiled and cooled water, due to possible infections.

I was very paranoid about making sure it was clean and the water sterile as had read a lot of warnings to do so as you don't want bacteria so close to your brain, so the cleaning and prep took some time but I expect it to be easier going forward. I am very used to the sensation and method to use these types of devices and this one is very similar to what I have used.

One note, I forgot to add the sachet for the second process and oh my goodness it was uncomfortable and sore, so remember to add it! I have only used this once, at the tail end of a summer cold that was very sinus-y and it worked well. NeilMed HydroPulse Neo. Multi-Speed Pulsating Nasal/Sinus Irrigation System with variable flow rate control system specifically for nasal and sinus irrigation. Not just a clea... Dr. Anne Maitland, M.D. at Clinical Paradigms, LLC, and assistant professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount SinaiThe capacity of the blue holding tank is just short of 250ml. That might seem to be enough but with my Sinupulse machine I can fill it to 700ml, it will actually hold around 750ml if filled to the brim. Sadly I am no stranger to Nelimed and their products, or more precisely my needs for nasal irrigation over the years due to Rhinitis, Sinusitis, and post nasal drips etc that trouble me far too often. I no longer need to use any regular prescribed treatments, not very effective, and I’m doing much better for using regular daily nasal irrigation. I would be wary about doing this too often, when I’m in a bad way I might increase this up to three times in a day at most, as over use might lead to producing excessive mucous. Also I only use povidone iodine if I am experiencing an infection, again good bacteria up the nostrils is needed to keep things in balance. This mist was the easiest of all the methods I tried because it doesn’t require any prep before use. The pressurized can is ready to go out of the box and comes with three different tip attachments for misting, spraying, and rinsing. The attachments allow for varying pressures, misting being the least amount and rinsing being the most. After trying out all three, it seems that the misting and spraying tips are good for everyday use but less effective for when I was stopped up. On a day I had a stuffy nose, I tried out the rinsing tip, and it helped clear me out almost instantly. Because the tips are detachable, they can be cleaned after every use as recommended.

Clean the Sinugator by running plain water and dry with a clean lint free towel and then air dry the unit by keeping it open to the air. The nasal irrigator tip, blue reservoir and white soft tube can be disinfected by placing in the home microwave for 60 seconds. Clean the entire unit with a few drops of dishwashing liquid and water every three days to keep the unit clean. Please make sure to run enough water during each wash so no soap is left behind. I had prepared my own in the past, using sodium bicarbonate, kosher salt (no additives) and water. But I am tending to use a lot of the pre made sachets produced by Nelimed, due to the convenience and ease of use, as well as having the exact quantities needed for the measured pre-boiled water used. The Sinugator is also incredibly easy to use and clean, making it a hassle-free addition to my daily routine. It's like the perfect pass from a teammate, it just flows seamlessly and effortlessly. Neilmed Sinugator Cordless Pulsating Nasal Wash NeilMed is a patented, Doctor recommended system providing natural relief from the symptoms of allergy and various nasal conditions. Medical research into positive nasal irrigation solutions has shown to provide the most relief to users suffering from allergies and sinus conditions. Pulsating Nasal Wash is an easy to use saline application administered with positive and pulsating pressure to clean and irrigate the nasal passages thoroughly. The few drops that I add of the povidone iodine is very effective in dealing with any infection and once cleared up I then return to the salt/ sodium bicarbonate solution in water.
