Candymarie: obviously, there is no real oakmoss in Red, but it definetely has a faint chypre quality in my opinion. In my perception, it shares quite a lot characteristics with the current formulation of Rochas Femme that used to be a chypre originally, now it's more of a fruity-spicy oriental without real oakmoss but with a definite chypre quality to it, too. It’s sort of a dark, quiet beauty that’s compelling in a confident way, the one with something deep and interesting to say but in no hurry to share it; the introverted guest walking along cement form promenades in the moonlight, while everyone else is dancing the night away in the ballroom.

Still not a Carolina Herrera Good Girl dupe or an Ariana Grande Cloud dupe (nothing coconutty sweet there), I don't get why people find them similar to Seductive Red or Bella Vita being another cherry perfume from guess often compared to the Good Girl range too... Just think it's close to it, but nothing's exactly reminding you of either Seductive Red or Very Good Girl Glam for instance. VGGG is way better on the lasting power and it is a more strong fruity blend than the fruity-floral subtle blend of Seductive Red.

This is my cousins wife's signature scent( and by signature I mean the only scent she wears! For 30+ years). I think its very fitting to her persona, she is gregarious, laughs easily, flirty and fun loving. She has the same birthday as I do( both Sagittarius girls) and we both like similar jewelry, clothing etc. I get sweet, woodsy, a tiny bit powdery...like a nightclub, much less screechy version oif Giorgio. I can't imagine wearing it myself as outs "her" scent but I enjoy it. Very sweet, the plum is juicy and candied, and the amber is lush and syrupy. The praline is a tad bit nuttier, that's why I don't get the immediate "Sí" impression. Sí is much more citric to my nose, the plum in Always Red prevents that effect. RED remained with me until 2001, when during a move, she along with a dozen of other liquid friends, were relegated to the storage unit. A storage unit my Mother had, and a few years later, had forgot to pay the bill for. Yep…where RED and her other friends ended up, I have no idea. But I do know, she still had a lotta life left in her (she was still ¾ full when I last saw her).

I’m glad we grabbed drinks tonight. But you came on a little too strong. You’ve got a big personality. And you’re not afraid to show it. I like and respect that. But you remind me a little of someone I used to know named Youth Dew. And that’s really kind of the problem. We don’t get along so well. And you’ve got that same old school incense cola vibe going on.

I went searching for Bella Vita ‘cuz I liked the sound of the notes but when I got to the Guess store and I compared it to Seductive Red, I preferred this one by far! Plus Seductive Red was 30% off! It does not give me the sunny day vibe, that gives "Si". On the contrary, I'd rather wear Always Red at evenings, maybe on a date. This is much deeper and more sensual, reminds me scene from the movies, like a dinner in Paris, when two sitting on terrace late night, drinking red wine and chatting.

I am definitely not getting any complexity from this fragrance, not to mention the masterpiece part. Too generic to my nose to waste time on. I personally can't smell Cloud, I only get the burnt latex/exhaust scent so I can't comment on if it is similar but interesting to know I have a reference point to what Cloud is now :) Somewhere in the Mediterranean or Far East. An ageless and beautiful, veiled woman wrapped in wine red silk and cashmere walks thru the center of a spice market in the cool of dusk. Dark smoldering eyes filled with secrets and wisdom... the praline gives it a nutty creaminess, and on me it lasts about 5-6 hours, which i personally find great.It’s very elegant, and to me very tasteful. I saw a woman and her daughter on YouTube completely bash this! I don’t know why? I guess we all have different opinions?! I've tried this twice on my skin while at my local perfume counter. I love it at first, but within about half an hour, it turns very sour smelling on my skin. Now, this is very unusual for me. In fact, I can't think of it ever happening before. It loses all it's pleasant sweetness, and it almost smells skunk-like.

As time went by I was given a partial bottle and it sat in my closet a long time. One day I was kind of bored and decided to try it out.I'll start by saying this is more appropriate for Fall and Winter weather. I don't see myself ever wearing it in the warmer months, as I'm sure it will transform into a cloying, monstrous scent that will overwhelm everyone. To me this perfume is warm, sunny and comforting. There's a little green freshness to it and a little spiciness. I can recognize the myrrh and the sandalwood. However, there's more I can smell that I cannot recognize. Perfect for fall I'd say and good for winter as well but honestly... I will wear this on colder summer nights, I can't wait until autumn.
