About this deal

FIVE STARS - Two years after the brilliant QCY T5, the Chinese brand has done it again. Tremendous battery life, great sound quality, and adequate phone and video calls performance: the QCY T13 is a steal for its 25 dollars price tag. Battery life on the QCY T13 is more than decent. On a full charge, the T13 will last at least five hours if you’re actively listening to music. If it’s just in-ear for occasional calls and music listening, it can go a whole 30 hours without needing a refill.

You’re not going to notice any lag while streaming video on Youtube on Netflix with the QCY T13. It’s the same case for gaming; the QCY T13 is a decent gaming earbud, and because latency is so low, there’s practically no lag when you use this to speak to teammates. Battery life The QCY T13 can go five hours of active listening on a single chargeThe QCY T13 probably has the biggest soundstage you'll encounter on a pair of very cheap wireless earphones. Naturally, I was super stoked to get my hands on one of their new releases – the QCY T13. This is a TWS earbud that looks a lot like the older QCY T11 and T11S. QCY is calling it an upgrade of the former two. My opinion, however, changed when I listened to some songs with the QCY T13. Sound-wise, this is a significant upgrade to the T11, and considering that both cost about the same price, I’ll say you’re getting a great deal if you bought the T13. It’s a nicer sounding QCY T11, and that for me is enough reason to go with this earbud Obviously, this puts a limit on what kind of physical activity you could use the T13 for. I’ve found them just okay for walking and routing jogging, but if you’re going to be doing intensive workouts or running laps, you might want to consider the Haylou W1 or even the QCY HT01; both have better grip in-ear than the QCY T13.

Open it up, and you see the T13 in all its shiny glory. The finish is glossy. It looks like it was built to last, and I’m definitely impressed by the overall feel. The Edifier X3 were the recommended cheapest all-around earbuds on Scarbir.com for around a year... until now. Even though the charging case of the Edifier is still unbeatably compact, the QCY T13 wins on features and sound. It has 1,5 hours longer playtime per charge, performs better in video calls, has a low-latency mode, and is much easier to connect with multiple Bluetooth devices. The QCY bass has a bigger rumble - something you could like or not - sounds pleasantly warmer and keeps higher-pitched vocals and other upper-mids a bit better in control. The T13 offers a wider soundstage and shows more (spacial) details in the music as well.

TL;DR: recap

In the standard scheme, it's not possible to change the volume from the earpieces directly. However, you can change the controls via the free QCY app. As the T13 doesn't support a single tap, you can't have both simultaneously. However: you won't activate controls just by adjusting the earbuds a bit - that's nice. Range on the QCY T13 is the standard ten meters. Of course, in the presence of walls and other solid barriers, this drops (to about six meters), but I’ll have to say the T13 still manages to handle obstruction quite well – even better than some pricier TWS earbuds. I’ve had my connected device stay in the living room and pretty walked to other parts of my apartment without losing connection. Should you buy the QCY T13 Overall the QCY T13 is a well worth upgrade over the QCY T11, T11S and T12 The QCY T13 comes equipped with a fast charge technology that allows the earbud to draw about an hour of usage time from just five minutes of charging. I’ve tested this feature, and it works as advertised. Sound quality I have maintained for a long time that cheap “true wireless” earphones are not there yet – they compromise too much on sound quality, among other things, to be a viable option. That is changing, though, and more and more entry-level TWS earphones are actually quite good for the price, to the point they are comparable to wired alternatives. The QCY T13 are among those who are making me change my mind, as they do a lot of things correctly. They should be, because the T17 can actually reach QCY's advertised 7,5 hours of playtime on a single charge. An excellent performance for this price. The case can recharge the buds three times before needing new power itself, but fast-charging the earbuds or the case isn't supported.

The QCY T13 has a simple design and feels well-built for its friendly price tag. The earbuds are completely white and have a short stem. The oval part rests in your ears comfortably, without feeling very big (in medium-sized ears). It's doable to wear them for a few hours in a row, and they're in your ears snug enough to take a run or workout with them. While QCY doesn't provide a waterproof rating, their smooth and hole-less design should make them withstand rain. The QCY T13 offer compatibility with the Bluetooth 5.1 standard, together with the SBC and AAC codecs. Range is entirely inside the average, but the connection is quite stable and I’ve never had any issues with stability. One other area where the T13 punches far above its weight in terms of sound quality is the level of surround sound it puts out. As was the case with instrumentals, the T13 manages to catch and play out all the subtle but ‘eargasmic’ surround detailing. Listening to hi-fi music on this earbud is nothing short of immersive and engaging.Going up in the frequencies, the QCY T17 shows a dip in the lower mid-tones, meaning lower electronic tones don't play a prominent role. Darker male vocals move up to the center-mids. These center-mids enjoy a nice presence. Male and lower female vocals sound detailed, and acoustic guitars and piano play come across naturally. The QCY T13 has touch controls on the earbud's upper part, which respond well to your input. The control scheme is simple:

Ever since the QCY HT01 sort of won my heart, I’ve been a huge fan of QCY earphones. They’re affordable, trendy, and like the HT01 showed perfect-sounding in-ear. Consider buying this earphone? I'd really appreciate it if you use the links in this article . It won't cost you extra, yet it will financially support me a bit in my ongoing quest for great affordable audio. <3I am quite impressed by the battery life. I have been able to use the QCY T13 for about 8 hours straight, which is quite significant in general and even more so given the super-affordable price they are sold at. Interestingly, the earphones start complaining about low battery (with a repeated modulated tone) more than half an hour before they eventually give up. Sound & Specs Thanks to Bluetooth 5. 1 chip, QCY T13 features way faster, more stable transmission yet lower power consumption than those with Bluetooth 5.0 STARS - The T17 is yet another pair of great ultra-cheap wireless earbuds from QCY. It convinces with good comfort, great battery life, and clear sound for a ridiculously low price. This review is based on a sample provided by QCY to convey a sincere quality review to our readers.
