The Oral-B Pro 650 comes in at a lower price point and thus sacrifices some of the features of the Oral-B Pro 2 2500. The main one for me is the pressure sensor. Pressing too hard with a toothbrush can lead to gum recession and tooth wear. The Oral-B Pro 2 2500 has a pressure sensor that flashes red when you are pressing too hard. This will mean that you will use the brush at just the right pressure. There is no difference in speed/power of the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 and Oral-B Pro 650. Is the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 waterproof? Then there’s the I started using oral b vitality last year as my friend recommended using an electric toothbrush instead of manual ones. The front of the handle is very simple. It has an on/off button that feels solid to press. If the on/off button is pressed multiple times then it also changes the cleaning mode. It only has two cleaning modes, daily clean and gum care. I always use it on daily clean mode because the gum care mode feels very weird and am not convinced it actually cleans very well. If a smart toothbrush is really what you want, then the Smart 5 5000 or the Genius X from Oral-B are the brushes to look at.I’m happy to start using this brush and I got it as a Birthday present. It’s a pink one but that’s fine by me, I dont care about the colour too much and Pink is Cool! Regular price 100€ and it was on sale for 50€, good price, fair price for sure. Reply The fundamental and MOST IMPORTANT difference between the Pro 2000 and Pro 4000 series of brushes, is in fact that the Pro 4000 series is capable of giving a better (or faster or more effective) cleaning performance than the Pro 2000 series. Whilst nobody can provide complete assurances of reliability, there is little reason to have concern here. The Pro 2 feels solid in hand. I’ve used this and similar brushes for many years without issue. If you needed to charge the toothbrush, you have to share a charging stand, whereas the Pro 2500 comes with 1 with each handle and that useful travel case. The quadpacer 2 minute timer featured on the Oral-B Pro 2 2000 2 is an on handle timer that “buzzes” every 30 seconds to let you know when to change areas of the mouth. It is a simple and ingenious way of letting you instinctively know when your 2 minutes of dentist recommended brushing is up. A visible timer would be useful aswell to know exactly how long you have been brushing for. You can get this by using the sound recognition from the Oral-B App which is available from Itunes and Google play although is not as reliable as Bluetooth connectivity. Visible Pressure sensor

I am not sure precisely which model you have but I am guessing the Vitality models which have 7,800 osciallations and (normally) no pulsations. The 3D white head is designed to help polish stains on the exterior of the teeth and make the teeth appear whiter, whilst the Sensi UltraThin is a softer bristled head that pairs well with the Sensitive cleaning mode available on the Pro 2 2000. In my opinion, the 3000 series is probably the best value for money out of the Oral B ranges, if you simply want the most effective cleaning from an Oral B product. Sometimes, “higher” models can be found on offer at reduced prices, which of course is also attractive. If you want bells and whistles, then you can pay more for them, and if you are on a tighter budget, then of course the 2000 series and below should become a more attractive option. I recently acquired the 2500 -not sure whether the 2016 or the 2017 model-, however, I ended up returning it, as it didn’t reduce speed upon applying too much pressure, or at least I couldn’t notice; just the visual indicator turning on. Even pressing hard on my hand, I wouldn’t observe any speed reduction; should that be obvious enough? or is it not so obvious? Whilst we don’t have specific figures for this model, we estimate that the Pro 2 2000 is about average in terms of its impact. This is because it doesn’t have additional, unnecessary extras like Bluetooth or an in handle display.
