This Numicon ideas for early years number shapes resource is a fantastic printable tool that will help children understand numbers from 1 to 10. Each number is represented by a shape that with a number of wholes in it. The number of holes collates to the number the shape represents. Print this resource on to a piece of A4 paper and cut in half where the dotted line is. One half contains the cards, each with a different Numicon Shape for a particular number.
