For those of you just reading this two days ago we were given just two weeks to vacate our Dr Zigs Bubble Factory.. This is my diary. We’re on the Spielwarenmesse World of Toys pavilion, Level 3 booth 1882 She said: “We are a toy so it was really important that we changed the way we worked and had the protocols in place to adhere to social distancing guidelines in the factory. Today there was also ‘normal’ Dr Zigs happenings. We made a video for a presentation that I had promised a company three days ago; we tested new mix; I had news that a parcel of Bubbles heading into Ukraine, to Bucha, reached the first leg of it’s journey. We also had a great meeting with Goodwill (UK peeps look them up - they’re incredible) in Illinois. Hopefully an exciting collaboration in the works. It does frustrate me how much this eviction is taking me from my day to day stuff, but hey, at least there IS good stuff still happening. I’d like to share some of these moments with you. I have to choose only 12 of these images to use in our annual calendar that we will print and have in the office (and a few copies for any of you who would like one too). I’m finding it so hard to narrow them down and I would love your help. I’ll share a few here - but also a link to a bunch more as an album to facebook, and see which ones you all like the most. Or if you have your own personal favourites do add in the comments and share them with us too. Can't wait for the next chapter of Dr Zigs , to see our innovative Bubble Toys grow to become an even more global brand, to really spearhead the movement towards #sustainabletoys and to spread zillions more smiles and laughter. Although it has been a challenging year with Covid-19, Paola has seen the joy bubbles give people during difficult times so she is determined to keep producing bubbles and prepare for the new rules.
