I've been looking for a set of studio cans for a while, and have always heard amazing things about the 770s, 880s, and 990s. Initially I was having a hard time figuring out which one of those would be best for me. I wanted a pair of headphones that I could simultaneously record with (meaning, with minimal spill), and that I could mix and master with. These are my 3rd Beyerdynamic product - DT 770 Pro 250, A200p and now DT 770 Pro 32. No doubt, these are one of the best monitor headphones I have used for the price. I do use Marshall Monitor and B&W P7 while traveling. I use DT770 Pros with Schitt Magni on desktop with Garageband.

That was our Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250 studio headphone review. The DT 770 Pro has a closed-ear design that helps to minimize outside noise and it fits your ears correctly. It has an impressive 5Hz-35kHz frequency response with 250-ohm impedance. Therefore, the Audio-Technica M50x is great for bass-heavy music such as dance music. If you also do a lot of DJ gigging and produce bass-heavy music, the Audio-Technica M50x might be a better headphone for you. The one thing that was unclear to me about these headphones was whether or not the Behringer umc204hd can power them. I am happy to report that not only it can power them, most of the time i don't even run them at full volume.

Who Is Beyerdynamic?

I do not prefer very loud sounds. If the earphone is damaged, I get a new one. But my ears should always use them well with me and I must always protect.

The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250 might have a bit of a harsh sound in the top end, but it’s an issue that can be adjusted. Unlike some of its competitors in this price range, the cables aren’t replaceable. You will also need an amp or audio interface to better experience the power of the Beyerdynamic DT 770. For closure, I run these headphones through Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 3rd Gen audio interface and you achieve the "medium-to-high" volume at 60% of the knob-turn. At 100%, you can listen to it, but that's just blazing and a bit too loud.

How does the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO sound?

Comfort is also great, many hours, minimum fatigue. Might have to get used to the weight, clamp pressure, and curly cable weight & handling. But in a weeks time it will be second nature. My longest session wearing it was 22 hours. I have used it for nearly 3 years now, almost every day 7 days a week, 3 to 12hrs a day. There's only one Con, the curly cable, if you sit stationary in your mix position you're fine. But if you move a lot to access different gear, any head movement more than 30cm, will reposition the cable & it's weight strain. Do that all day, & you'll get tired & annoyed by that cable. So sit still haha and try to have the cable rest on something like your desktop/table when mixing/mastering. Letting the cable hang full weight on the headphone will cause fatigue during long sessions, but is inevitable in the vocal booth where one usually stands upright. Make and comfort: These headphones are a mixture of steel and plastic and each part is replaceable. But why you will need replacing is beyond me since they have been made so sturdily. The ear pads are made of velour and covers my ears completely, this not only guarantees amazing comfort but also allows the sound to gently bounce off my outer ear into my ear drum which creates a sensation of high definition surround sound. For (live) mixing in loud environments, closed headphones are usually used. From our portfolio, the DT 770 M, the DT 770 PRO, the DT 700 PRO X and the DT 1770 PRO are suitable.

Additionally, with more bass than the DT 770 250, the DT 770 Pro 80 does well with bass heavier genres such as dance music. It’s best to connect the DT 770 Pro 250 to an amp or audio interface for optimum music recording experience. Pros Of The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250So yeah the Pro's: Mix/master translates well, great subwoofer clarity to make confident mix/master decisions on for the low end. Music mixed on these translates well to other systems. Also great for critical listening, referencing music & sound design. Accuracy & translation is great on these, but note the stereowidth, bit narrow sound width due to the closed design. Low tones are really tight and clear. There is no mud, it extremely clean. Own stays in its place and does not overshadow other sounds.
