Please be aware that when trying to match finishes on old or obsolete items, not all manufacturers are the same. Some manufacturers will change their finish/design when they update a product and the new product's finish/design could be slightly or very different. I absolutely love the Amcrest AD410, it has so many really great features including some AI features, the image quality is pretty good in both night time and daytime settings, especially how it handled that super bright environment and it gives you the freedom to capture and store the footage pretty much however you want, all for a great price and it’s definitely a doorbell I am confident in recommending. Just installed my Amcrest AD110 wifi video doorbell the other day, has been testing and integrated into HA. Note: If you set the stream_source option to rtsp , make sure to follow the steps mentioned at FFmpeg documentation to install the ffmpeg . Filtered air is drawn into the unit at the side, and warm dry air is vented through a diffuser at the front

My doorbell is running off the initial firmware that was on it when I bought it (Sorry don’t remember what it is currently) and I know there has been at least 3-4 firmware upgrades since so I don’t know if the api is the same or even still accessible with the newer firmware. I did run across a post by an Amcrest employee stating that Amcrest was moving towards a no end user access to the api so If any of what I post works for you, upgrading at some point could end up causing it to stop.

Now the AD110's video feed is continuously recording in Blue Iris completely over local IP. I can also securely view the live feed from anywhere using UI3 web player from BI. I had ultimately unplugged the IR lights on my device as I didn’t need them but you can adjust them through the api. First, I added a view in Lovelace to show the live feed. This new view will be loaded up by my automation when the doorbell is pressed. The code here would depend on how you choose to integrate camera feeds into Home Assistant. Should always exercise caution when messing with anything when it comes to this doorbell and changing things via the API is no exception. Sure I could put the AD110 on a separate network with unrestricted internet and let it rat me out to the Chinese marketeers, but then I have to play firewall games. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with this camera yet but sometimes iIt's just not worth it to beat them at their own game and just go without. Thanks, I feel better now. motion detection zones are the grid map you mark on/off. I cannot turn off an area without Clear setting to start over.
