About this deal

You can make use of the aux cable that needs to open the flap. Since it is waterproof, you can notice a mesh present around the model. The design of the Bluetooth speaker is simply top-notch. If you haven’t, we suggest that you read the post again; you will find something useful. The Tribit Stormbox Bluetooth speaker is a fantastic choice for those of you wanting a simple, portable, and affordable unit. The product is quite light, weighing in at more than 620grams. You do not notice any flex on it, meaning that it is durable. You can find 4 rubber feet to place it firmly on any surface that you would want. Listening to music or other audio effectively has two modes with the MaxSound Plus Bluetooth speaker and either of those excels at what it seems designed to do.

The battery life of the Tribit MaxSound Plus depends on the volume level and usage patterns. However, it is rated for up to 20 hours of playtime on a single charge.Sadly, they could have given the USB-C that is modern and approachable. At the top, you can notice the buttons that are elegantly designed. You can also find a microphone present in there. They all look fantastic and do not make too much of a difference. It is entirely your choice. Similarly, the Tribit Maxsound Plus model has a similar design to most of the Tribit products. That wasn’t very pleasant because you do not feel like you are using a new product. Along the top of the rubberized control buttons, with the microphone just above there is a play button for voice calls and activating Google Siri from a connected device. Charging the speaker’s 2200 million power battery from empty takes a lengthy 4hours. It supports a maximum charging current of only 1.4amps at 5 volts, slower than the Soundcore boost’s 2.1 amp input. There’s no NFC pairing like there is on the Soundcore Boost. A single press of the power button also turns the unit off. The Sonos Roam is the only speaker we tested that's set up to take advantage of the ever more ubiquitous wireless charging stations. If you have a few wireless charging stations around your house for your phone, the Roam can use the same chargers. Just take this little speaker with you throughout your home, and conveniently set it down to charge. The Roam also utilizes your home's WiFi to sync up with other Sonos speakers, so if you've invested in a Sonos system, the Roam can serve as an additional speaker to pump out mids and highs, or seamlessly transfer to Bluetooth and go out to the park with you and your mobile device. Like most speakers we've tested from Sonos, the Roam also sounds great, producing excellent audio at decent volumes.

Unfortunately, users cannot work with the USB power bank provided with it, and they can only pair it to a single device. You have no stereo pairing either. Not to mention, there is no aptX or NFC support. More expensive offerings from Bose sound better than the Flip 5, especially at max volume. This speaker tends to sputter when cranked up, but it still sounds great with the volume around 75%. There are certainly smaller, lighter models out there, like the JBL Clip 4 that weighs less than half of the Flip 5. However, we feel the Flip 5 strikes a nice balance between sound quality and portability, and its affordable price makes it a great choice for anyone tough on their gear. The definitive spec-sheet for Tribit’s smallest and most affordable speaker looks excellent for the money, with Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C charging, a 24-hour battery life, IPX7 waterproofing, a total of 16W power and a stereo pairing feature.

I’ll be comparing it against two comparably sized and spec’d speakers: the JBL Flip 4 which costs a fair bit more and the similarly priced Anker SoundCore Boost. In the sound test that you can listen to in the video, I’ll even add in the smaller Anker Soundcore 2 and the larger Anker Soundcore Motion+.

Along the top are the rubberised control buttons, with the microphone just above the play button for voice calls and activating Google or Siri from a connected device. Charging the 2200mAh battery at 1.4A The Maxsound Plus model is more expensive than the earlier model, XSound Go. It also does weigh a little more than that. However, the features and the sound performance are much better than what you can find in the previous unit. But it has its own standout looks and is quite abundant in design. The radiators that are present at the bottom appear like glass material. It is done that well. But they are made from plastic. The design quality is highly impressive.
