The Cure are reissuing their Wish album in a 30th anniversary edition, via UMC/Polydor this October.

Reluctantly bought this because i was to impatient to wait for a US standard pressing but Sound wise i cant even tell this is a picture disc it sounds very good.

Trust is one of the best things we’ve ever done I think, it’s played with great feeling, and To Wish Impossible Things is another gorgeous, melancholic piece… in fact it could well be my favourite song on the record.”

We used a pretty small palette of sounds, as we did with Disintegration, but managed to create a lot of different kinds of song with it. I think Kiss Me was more of a reference than Disintegration.”The band's seminal 1992 album is to receive the deluxe treatment - with a vinyl remaster, a set of rarities, plus a replica of the much sought-after "Lost Wishes" cassette of outtakes.
