The game is aimed at ages 3-7, and for any more than 2 players. Each player takes it in turns to take a card from the top of the 2 piles of cards, marked “easy” and “hard”. They then have to make the sound depicted by that card. Players are not allowed to gesticulate or say words, only make noises. All the other players then have to guess what the noise is. However, a lot of games are a little too old for my almost 5 year old. We do need to find age appropriate substitutes. So when Gamely asked if I would like to review the new younger children version of their already successful Soundiculous game, I was very pleased to accept. Soundiculous Kids was inspired by Soundiculous - the hilarious sound-making game with more than 150 harder sounds, such as roller coaster, didgeridoo and whale! Combined with Soundiculous Kids, or by itself, it offers a real challenge and lots of laughs for older kids and adults alike. We enjoyed this game a lot as a family, the simplicity of game play mixed with the challenge of sounding things out makes it a big belly laugher of a game for family games night. It is really easy to play this game, all you need to do I separate the cards into two piles. You have a pile of Hard cards Whether it's Grandma howling like a hyena, your friends doing their finest impression of a clothes dryer or the kids doing their best to sound like a trumpet, laughter is a certainty! Very enjoyable and plenty of laughs Even though the age range of this game is aimed at children aged 3 to 7 years old, it is still enjoyable for older kids and adults too, and if you want to ramp up the fun while playing with older kids and adults you can always mix these cards with the older Soundiculous card game too, so you are all playing to your own level, as we think that would still work really well. The aim of the game is simple - get the most points by making ridiculous sounds and guessing what ridiculous sounds other players are making. Soundiculous is the gloriously silly, family-friendly game of ridiculous sounds. The aim of the game is simple – get the most points by making and guessing ridiculous sounds! Make the SOUND of whatever is on your card. Try not to say any words or do any actions. You can sit on your hands if you need to! The objective of the game is to be the player that gets the most points, although having a great laugh together as a family is also a main objection of this game we think. Also given that there aren't that many cards in total for each difficulty I feel they could have made them double sided or had 3-4 prompts on to keep the game from getting as repetitive.It's quite a fun game, played with a group of 8. The difficulty categories seem very subjective my group found many of the hard ones easier than medium prompts. FANTASTICALLY FUN AND GLORIOUSLY SILLY - Soundiculous is the outrageously funny, family-friendly game of ridiculous sounds.
