The face didn’t work too well for me. I would dread every session as the following days my skin would break out with lots of aggressive white spots. I put this down to a combination of having to shave, and the subsequent use of laser on these sensitive areas. For Glide, keep the button pressed and slide it over your skin at a consistent speed to cover each position in time with the flashes. This little cutie from Smoothskin is super simple and fast to use. That's because it has one low IPL intensity level, so it's straighforward with only the flash button to press.
Switch to Glide Mode for continuous flashes as you work over large areas or Stamp Mode for small areas like bikini. This WILL work on those stubborn hairs (as long as they’re not white) but ooh, shaving first? I can’t do it.The Bare+ is very fast. To start the flashes come fast and you can simply glide the device over your skin. However, after a minute or so as the Bare+ heats up, and so the flashes slow down. It’s still fast and personally I don’t mind that because I find the pace ideal to concentrate and get good, accurate coverage. And you’re done before you can get bored or tired anyway. My bikini area is quite dark yet I am able to do the whole thing with such ease. The flash is far more powerful with 5 different options for strength settings in comparison to 2 on the Smoothskin Muse.
