About this deal

Hannah J Davies of The Guardian described the podcast as a "comforting, craic-filled show" that "is not to be underestimated". [20] The Radio Times included Shagged Married Annoyed in their 'Best podcasts to listen to in 2021' describing it as "excellent light-hearted listening." [21] In a review for The Times, James Marriott gave the podcast two out of five stars, calling it "cringey with effortful banter". [13] Book [ edit ]

While I thought this was good it is nowhere near as good as the podcast. The stories just don't have the same "bang" to them without Rosie's snorts and Chris's reactions. I also thought they could have done a MUCH better job on the choice of font to show who is "talking". In this week's podcast Chris has a fashion crisis and Rosie is keen to know some secrets. There's a discussion about Airplane v Aeroplane and Rafe shows Rosie up in the queue for Ice Cream. All of this plus a phantom sandwich poker and a man who tries to perform a sex act on himself. They’ve then read over each other’s half and added an unnecessary comment which entirely ruins the flow. a b "Major new arena dates added to Chris & Rosie Ramsey's record breaking Sh**ged. Married. In a review for the Evening Standard, Bruce Dessau described the show as "an evening of crowdpleasing, undemanding, relatable laughs." [26] Brian Logan of The Guardian praised Chris and Rosie's charms as hosts and called the show a "mildly amusing night out". [27] Episodes [ edit ] Episode a b Dessau, Bruce (28 September 2021). "Shagged. Married. Annoyed at the Palladium review: An evening of crowdpleasing, undemanding laughs". Evening Standard . Retrieved 20 November 2021.As a podcast listener, I know what this book was going for. It is like their conversations on the podcast, which are free-flowing and hilarious. For me, the content of the book was great, but the formatting made it hard to read and follow. It would have benefited from some structure. Rosie and Chris are sharing some never-heard stories that are told in their iconic style of *taking the piss* out of each other. If you want to hear ridiculous stories which make you spit out your drink laughing and almost p*** yourself, then this is the podcast for you! Five stars! This has some absolutely hilarious moments that did make me laugh out loud. However some of it was a bit of a slog, although I can hear it in their voices as I'm a huge fan of the podcast, it just didn't feel the same.
