About this deal

While it’s still not what I would call essential viewing, Re/Member is a cut above a lot of similar films. The fights with the ghost tend to be fast paced and energetic, and there’s a bit more to the plot than just a collection of jump scares. If you’re looking for a way to kill some time, it should do the job nicely. The manga Re/Member is composed of many parts, but regarding the plot covered by the movie, the body search ends successfully, and the students find the head in the Red Person’s doll. Only Asuka and Takahiro survive the day. Asuka wakes up the morning after, and again, nobody seems to notice her, as she predicted. But Takahiro remembers her and declares his love for her. Gizelle Bryant Breaks Her Silence After Leah McSweeney Put Her On Blast In Bombshell Bravo Investigation: "I Don't Need A Producer To Tell Me To Do Anything" (Exclusive) As soon as the teenagers realize what is happening to them, they start to take the task seriously and come up with a plan. Shota brings the blueprint of the school and they start marking down all the places where they have already searched for a body part. Every night they try to cover a certain area of the school and after many loops, they succeed in assembling the entire body, except the head. The victim's name slowly begins to change to Asuka's, and the photo of the girl is replaced by one that looks like Asuka would have at just eight years old. Whether this means Asuka was always the spectre all along, or if she is going to torture the next round of students in decades to come, is left unclear.

Are you ready to mark your calendar? If so, make sure to mark off Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, because that’s when the teen horror will make its way to Netflix. You can expect the movie to drop on the streamer at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on this date. In the end, the teens defeat the Red Person and end the game. Unfortunately, another caveat of the game is that you lose all of your memories of it afterward and, therefore, the friendships they made with each other. However, there are loopholes, as proven by Takahiro remembering Asuka after he sees her drop his pin and fulfills his promise to find her again. Awe. Apart from the aforementioned actors, Re/Member also stars many others in important supporting roles:

Re/Member (2022) Review - Voices From The Balcony Re/Member (2022) Review - Voices From The Balcony

The film premiered in October 2022 in Japan, and now Netflix Lifers will finally get to see it for themselves very soon. Asuka takes the head to the coffin where she places it with the rest of the body. She wakes up the next morning and discovers that it is the next day. They have broken out of the loop. But, as expected, all of them have forgotten about the time loop and the body search. On the news, the report about Miko’s dead body being found is released, which means that the teenagers succeeded in their task and broke out of the loop for good. Do Asuka and Takahiro Remember the Time Loop and the Body Search? It’s a surprisingly happy ending for a horror movie, or so it seems…until you watch the Re/Member post-credits scene. What does the Re/Member post-credits scene mean? The manga in question was originally called Karada Sagashi (which translates to “Body Search” in English), by Welzard, with art by Katsutoshi Murase, and was published in 17 volumes that concluded in 2017. The 2022 movie was adapted by Welzard and Murase, and directed by Eiichirô Hasumi, and while it’s hardly high art, it is a lot of fun. The concept revolves around six teenagers who are trapped in a time loop together, and must put together a dismembered body—or, re-member the body, if you will—before they are all brutally murdered by a monster. Jenna Bush Hager Says Her Dad's Own Struggles With Alcohol Helped Her Talk About Matthew Perry's Death With Her Young Daughter The movie successfully reflects the underlying message that the students are supposed to learn: to achieve success, they have to team up, winning the sense of solitude that always fills their lives. In the manga Re/Member, the students get organized in the search. Their cooperation is also facilitated by the voice coming from the school speakers, which informs them about the position of the Red Person. The students will never understand who speaks from the speakers: when they get close to the announcement room, the Red Person immediately appears. Apart from the new Netflix horror movie, Kanna Hashimoto has starred in The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight, Violence Action, and Sailor Suit and Machine Gun: Graduation, to name a few.

Re/Member (2022) - Cineverse Review Re/Member (2022) - Cineverse

Netflix will be releasing a horror film titled Re/Memberthis February, and we gathered all the important details about it to share with you below! extremely atmospheric with plenty of kills and not a boring moment in sight. there are some pretty nice practical effects (unfortunately, there's also some questionable cgi) and fairly likeable characters too. this takes a premise that we've all seen before and somehow still makes it enjoyable. simple j-horror done well. Director Eiichiro Hasumi ( Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, Mozu the Movie) and writer Harumi Doki (Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 – Sustainable War, Cyborg 009: Call of Justice) get things off to a decent start as the various members of the group start to remember what happened and are forced to put their differences aside and work together. They find a nice balance between the Breakfast Club teen bonding and Dream Warriors style teen horror for much of Re/Member’s first half. The recent chapter of Karadasagashi manga, released on Friday via Shounen Jump+, has announced the main cast members for the previously announced anime adaptation. The post-credits scene suggests a possibility for a sequel. There is plenty of material to draw from since there are multiple volumes in the manga the film is based on. Plus, in the original story, some characters get roped into playing more than one game of Body Search. The film’s ending suggests that there is much more to this story than we were initially led to believe. Netflix hasn’t revealed any plans for a Re/Membersequel yet, but anything is possible! Eventually, every part of the body has been recovered except for the head. The teens decide to search the house where the little girl died in 1947, hoping to find clues as to where the head might be. They find the little girl’s doll hidden in the wall, and, though they don’t see it, the ghost of the little girl appears, too. Then the doll disappears. That night in the chapel, instead of the Red Person, the teens are confronted by a new terrifying monster. It’s tall, lanky, and sort of looks like a hairy Gumby. They all die that night, like always, but one of the girls, Rie, is eaten by the monster.
