About this deal

Another absolute smasher from Rob Biddulph! Gorgeously illustrated and a joyfully escapist adventure.’ – Louie Stowell, author of Loki: A Bad God’s Guide to Being Good David Walliams ‘UTTERLY ENGROSSING… We first became familiar with Rob’s work during the pandemic and we have bought several of his books since. Louie Stowell, author of Loki: A Bad God's Guide to Being Good Rob Biddulph is one of the finest, most innovative creators we have. Inside and out, this is a thing of beauty.

Wildly imaginative, brilliantly written and perfectly illustrated. This is a joy to read. -- David WalliamsLaura Ellen Anderson, bestselling author of the Amelia Fang and Rainbow Grey series ‘Rob is hero-worshipped in my house and this book is going to blow my children's minds’ Superstar, author and illustrator Rob Biddulph dazzles in Peanut Jones and the Twelve Portals . This second title in the hilarious adventure series for boys and girls aged 8 to 12 fizzes with magic, danger, friendship and art. It is fully illustrated throughout by Rob, the creative genius behind #DrawWithRob.

It’s another Bookwagon day in our house. The kids were so excited to get their latest books in the post. Peanut has yet to find her missing dad, but is pleased that post-it note messages have started appearing in her lunchbox again; she is convinced they are from her dad and that he is trying to tell her something. Wildly imaginative, brilliantly written and perfectly illustrated. This is a joy to read.' – David WalliamsLook at this utter beauty . . . This book is EPIC -- Laura Ellen Anderson, bestselling author of Amelia Fang, on Peanut Jones and the Illustrated City One thing I especially love about it is that the chapters aren't too long. You can have a short read and feel good, or you can read loads of chapters and get a real sense of achievement. When Peanut goes to Venice to save her Mum, a final showdown starts in which Peanut questions everything. Within a rattling adventure story of pace and vivid imagination, are outstanding illustrations relating to the story of the threat to a creative world. Then again, this is an art history journey, alongside a rousing call to the creative spirit.
