About this deal

He explains how He can gain control through habbits such as smoking, drinking, drugs, and sex. By these confessions we are taught how to stay on the straight and narrow path twards happiness and fulfillment.

Outwitting the Devil offers the reader the awareness and tools needed to better manage their thoughts, words, actions, and outcomes. It's a great book and well worth the price of admission.

This is one of the most compelling and fascinating books I've ever read, and I read a LOT. It starts off a bit slow, but then WHAM. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one evening. I'll definitely be reading it and rereading the information is firmly embedded in my mind.

The book quotes from the bible and even states that it corresponds with Christ’s teachings. A few differences of the book compared to the bible came to mind as I was reading it: First off, let me say that I would love to give this book 5 stars, but I can't because of Sharon Lechter's constant interruptions throughout the book. The book was written by Napoleon Hill, but she felt the need to add her two cents by interjecting her commentary all throughout the book, making it distracting to read; you, if you're like me, will end up skipping all her commentary, which adds no value to the book whatsoever. In some cases, she simply repeats the last line or quotes the last line and adds, "So says the Devil." Fortunately, each of her commentary blurbs are sectioned off and bold, so they are easy to skip over. I believe she was instrumental in getting this book into print, for which I am grateful, but she should have ended her contribution there - well, that and the foreword. Drifting is what human beings begin doing as they take in the conscious, subconscious, and subliminal messages coming in from the outside. They slowly begin drifting towards helplessness which leads to the inability to think for themselves. Drifters believe they’re powerless.Harnessing the power of cooperation : Hill encourages individuals to work together with others in the pursuit of their goals. Cooperation and collaboration can multiply the effectiveness of individual efforts, making it easier to overcome the challenges imposed by the Devil. The six most effective fears are the fear of poverty, criticism, ill health, loss of love, old age and death. He will be loud in his condemnation of his government, but he will never tell you definitely how it could be improved.

Purely in terms of the dancing, the physical mastery, the jaw-dropping shape-shifting, you will not see a more impressive performance this year. The speed at which the dancers in Akram Khan’s Outwitting the Devil scroll through the space or across the floor – it is as if they’re another species. But the dancing – just hold on to that. To see bodies defy all ordinary limits, to be absorbed in their constant transformation, to witness the grace and control, to feed on their ever-changing energy and be drawn into their orbit. That is something that needs no explanation. Rule #3: Analyze temporary defeat, no matter what nature or cause, and extract from it the seed of an equivalent advantage. This was written in 1938, and sat for 72 years unpublished. Very timely release, and everyone could benefit from it! The meat of the book is an interview with the Devil, and the answers given by the Devil will show you just how you can be manipulated by fear, and you will be so MAD, you will recognize the deceit, and rise above it!Hypnotic rhythm- rhythms of life, they exist. I the closing of the American mind, he talks about this in music driving people to sex. Sex has a rythym. Music of course also strikes notes of comfort, clarity, competition, excitement, adventure, love, etc. Mr. Devil: By all means! I choose the place of battle, and because of my abstract nature, I cannot be wiped out, not in a million years. Learning from adversity (don't give up after small temporary defeats, learn something and keep going)
