I haven’t fainted yet,’ said the Princess as they moved on to the next cabinet, which contained a pair of antique binoculars. ‘What’s so special about them?’ she asked. Interesting how it’s so often the women who end up getting away with it,’ said the Princess as they moved into the next room, which didn’t look any more inviting than the previous one. Next in Line doesn't disappoint if you're a Jeffrey Archer fan, or even if you are reading him for the first time. It has all the elements of clever plotting, multiple threads which twine into each other to provide the reader with a well crafted and layered read. At some point, he rebelled against some of his own party’s policies such as when he championed for free television licenses for the elderly citizens and when he was against the practice of imposing museum charges. Thanks to his political downsides, he later served time at Belmarsh and Wayland prisons. Series of books by Jeffrey Archer I am on 6th book of the Clifton chronicle and love all. Just finished listening to HEADS YOU WIN. Is there a sequel to this book? I want to know what happens when Sasha and Alex arrive n Russia! Reply

I hope you won’t find the museum too disturbing, ma’am. The occasional visitor has been known to faint,’ he said. They entered a room whose dim lighting only added to the macabre atmosphere. The two storylines are clever with many twists and turns, making for a fascinating and gripping read. Archer is adept at pulling many threads together to produce a satisfying conclusion, and it goes without saying that the research involved is exceptional. A terrific read! He was a Member of Parliament and deputy chairman of the Conservative Party, and became a life peer in 1992. His political career, having suffered several controversies, ended after a conviction for perverting the course of justice and his subsequent imprisonment. He is married to Mary Archer, a scientist specialising in solar power. Outside politics, he is a novelist, playwright and short story writer. Omg reading his books is the best and work gets in the way of them sometimes, I always need to really think about the time I have so I don’t get to an exciting bit but that never works. Love them and really enjoy that you can get I to the book yourself Reply Great stories have in them an essence of being timeless. They capture the important moments of life vividly and immortalize them. Such are the stories that take the reader through time-travel into the past or the future. The reader is able to re-live the story in his mind simply because a book has captured the life out of the story. Books like these could only be written by a sterling author. Jeffrey Archer is one such author manifesting literary greatness in himself. Being such a celebrated author, he has come to woo readers with his flair for writing novels and short stories. Biography of Jeffrey Archer

An outrider from the Special Escort Group swept into Scotland Yard, closely followed by a green Jaguar and an unmarked Land Rover, while two police motorcycles brought up the rear, completing the royal convoy. They all came to a halt as Big Ben chimed eleven thirty. The first exhibit,’ he said as they approached a large glass cabinet, ‘includes the early pieces of memorabilia collected by Neame and Randall.’ I enjoy this series and I like tge way Archer has extended it into new characters, rather than just the feud with Watson and Faulkner. The Princess shook hands with each of the officers in turn until she reached the end of the line, when she was introduced to the head of the Met’s murder investigation teams.

Yes, ma’am,’ said William, remembering that the Hawk had told him that ‘ma’am’ had to rhyme with ‘spam’, not ‘harm’. The writing here with Archer is top notch as usual. Mostly very believable situations but there are one or two where you do have to suspend disbelief somewhat but they dont take away from the overall enjoyment of the series.

He achieved this after three years of training offered by Brasenose College, Oxford. However, this academic feat was not without claims that he was actually never registered as an undergraduate student in this College. Despite such claims, he thrived in the field of athletics competing for his school and later on for England as well as Great Britain. Mr Archer’s life was not short of controversies and much speculation. During his time at Brasenose College, he received much criticism on his financial state of affairs. I noticed you didn’t waste much time before chatting up her lady-in-waiting,’ said William, when Inspector Hogan joined him. There's lots going on with all his family and colleagues and of course Miles Faulkner. His books are so good and so well written and researched, you feel they could be true. A fantastic series. There was a lot of things going on in this book, and lots of different plots and stories. Reading this book is much like eating a huge meal that has lots of rich and varied ingredients, which leave a pleasant after taste and a feeling of full satisfaction. THE UNPUTDOWNABLE NEW THRILLER FROM THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE CLIFTON CHRONICLES - PERFECT FOR FANS OF KEN FOLLET, JOHN GRISHAM and DANIEL SILVA

The book tells the testimonies of guys born worlds apart. They don’t have anything in common besides the same date of birth and an eagerness to reach life. William Lowell Kane is a rich and effective elite magnificence, whilst Abel Rosnovski is a pole who was born in a scenario of wonderful poverty and finally migrated to the United States. MY THOUGHTS: Archer has crafted yet another cunning plot, with three interwoven threads; one involving a threat to HRH the Princess of Wales. Miles Faulkner and his dodgy legal representative Booth-Watson make a reappearance, as does Faulkner's estranged wife Christine. James, who we met in Over My Dead Body, also reappears, and I believe he will also be featuring in Book #6.It’s 1988 and Britain is in the middle of their love affair with Diana, the People’s Princess. While many in the Royal Family prefer to keep a low profile, Diana attracts the flashbulb like none before her. This nothing new, but something is on the horizon, lowing the tabloids to feast on all the crumbs tossed their way.
