As you have assigned the income to appropriate cat-egories, when you generate reports such as ‘Income andSpending’ in the Reports gallery (Advanced mode), youcan see which of the categories is generating the mostincome. If you divide each main category into subcat-egories, Money will display even more detail on yourearnings. Finally, Money also has centres that contain bothonline and offline features. Centres such as Home,Investing and Planning for example.Secondly, transactionsin the selected accounts(see step 5) will be removedfrom the open Money file upto the date you specifiedin step 3. Try and have all your bank accounts in Money startfrom approximately the same date. This is especiallyimportant if you transfer funds between accounts. You would then ensure that the opening balance ofthe credit account in Money balances with the openingbalance for the credit card's statement and then enter allcredits and debits from that point onwards.

After this firststep, you can sign in to Money without being onlinealthough do remember that some features within Moneywill not be available if you are not connected to theInternet.
