About this deal

Hi, I’m Beth, a Mum of three (and one crazy dog), living in Cornwall, UK. I love creating easy, delicious and fuss-free recipes, perfect for busy families, just like my own. You will need one 140g bag of Maltesers for the base layer, plus extra for decorating the top of each bar. Feel free to just buy 1 bag if you don't plan on adding Maltesers on top. Then you’ll melt together chopped chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a double boiler. You’re essentially making chocolate fudge that’s extra creamy. You could do this in the microwave, but if so, just be very careful. Always use medium power (not high power) and melt in short 45-second bursts, stirring between each interval.

Digestive biscuits or Rich Tea Biscuits, crushed (you're aiming for a mixture of crumbs and larger pieces of biscuits, it makes for a more interesting texture) Oreo cupcakes – for Oreo fans, this cupcake recipe is a real treat. An unbelievable taste means that you won’t be able to have just one Celebrations bring together a selection of the most popular chocolates – and it’s no surprise that there’s a Maltesers representative in there. After many years of being only in the Celebrations, the Maltesers Teasers launched a solo career. It’s been a while since the chocolate laced with mini malty bits has been available in bigger forms, but it’s still just as exciting! The Maltesers Teasers Chocolate Bars offer the same thrill as the smaller versions found in Celebrations – in a welcome bigger portion! The recipe card with ingredient quantities and detailed instructions can be found at the bottom of the post Use a sharp knife to cut long strips, then turn the chopping board around 180 degrees and cut long strips the other way. Melt the white chocolate in a bowl over a pan of barely simmering water (ensuring the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl), then pour over the top of the mixture in the tray. Crush your leftover Maltesers and sprinkle over the top. Leave the whole thing to set in the fridge for three hours or until set.

Note: It’s important to melt chocolate very slowly over low heat to ensure the chocolate melts. If you ty to melt chocolate on high heat, it can end up baking and get grainy instead of smooth.Absolutely! If you want to make a big batch of malteser tiffin, you can store it for a longer period of time by freezing it. Note: You’ll need one 140 gram bag of Maltesers for the base layer, plus a few extras for decorating on top. If you don’t plan on adding Maltesers on top of each piece, you’ll only need to buy 1 bag. This easy no-bake chocolate traybake is super simple to make and perfect for bake sales, parties, and even Afternoon Tea! It's pretty much the same delicious recipe as my mini egg tiffin, but swaps the Cadbury mini eggs for malty Maltesers! Malteser Tiffin

Three: Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the crushed biscuits and Maltesers and stir to combine. Peanut butter and pecan brownies – brownies don’t get much more wonderfully indulgent. Absolutely irresistible! One of the defining features of Maltesers is not only that they’re as moreish as anything can be, but that they’re so delightfully round. It’s a simple touch, but a thoroughly enjoyable one! The process of how they end up so round is a totally mesmerising one, too. Well, the malty centres are cooked in little balls which are then coated in chocolate using a technique called ‘panning’. This involves the centres being tumbled constantly in a pan as melted chocolate is added to coat them. Both the speed and the amount of chocolate has to be carefully monitored to make sure the Maltesers come out just the way we like them. Just like my mint Aero traybake, it doesn’t last five minutes in my house. It’s just as well it takes less than 10 minutes to make! Nutrition information is an estimate only and based on 1 slice, assuming the pan is sliced into 12 equal pieces.

We all know that Mars Bars and Maltesers are a match made in heaven, (after all who can resist a slice or two of Mars Bar and Malteser Slice or Malteser and Mars Bar Cheesecake?) so it only makes sense to come up with new recipes using these delicious ingredients! Remove the Malteser slice from the fridge and pour over the melted chocolate. Decorate the top with crushed Maltesers. Remove from the heat, then add in the crushed biscuits and Maltesers. Mix well then pour into the prepared tin, press down well and chill until set.

You will need either a 20x20cm or 32x22cm baking tin, baking paper to line the tin and a small palette knife to spread the chocolate over the traybake. Add the chopped chocolate and butter to a double boiler over low heat and melt until smooth. Or add to a heatproof bowl and microwave on medium power (not high power - which is standard/default on some models) for 45-second intervals, stirring between each. Milk chocolate. I love Callebeut chocolate, but if I’m honest, I also use any supermarket brand milk chocolate. You’ll need 400g milk chocolate for the traybake and 200g for the topping. If I’m on a budget, I buy the 30p bars from the supermarket – I’ve never had a problem with them. Spread the mixture into a lined 20cm square tin or small roasting tray, pushing it into the corners and making the top as even as possible. Store: The no-bake chocolate traybake can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in the fridge in an airtight container. Leftovers will keep in the fridge for a week....but they won't last that long! The Maltesers will slightly soften over time but it doesn't affect the flavour.

Do you know a single person who doesn’t like Maltesers? I know I don’t! They are just so addictive. If you prefer you can melt the butter and syrup on a low heat on the hob and stir in the chopped-up chocolate until it all melts together. I find the microwave method is easier, but you must melt it in short bursts, stirring in between every time, to prevent the chocolate from burning and becoming grainy.
