About this deal

Its INCIname is a bit of a mouthful, but Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine is worth recognizing it as it is one of the best sunscreen agents known today. Unfortunately, it's not FDA-approved so you will not find it in sunscreens coming from the US (not because it's not good, but becauseUS regulations make it impossible for newer sunscreen agents to get approved), but it is widely available in other parts of the world like Europe, Australia or Asia. Ethylhexyl Triazone, aka Uvinul T 150, another new generation sunscreen agent with super-high UVB protection It's a new generation sunscreen agent that was specifically designed for high SPF and good UVA protectionand based on a 2007 study that compared 18 sunscreen agents available in the EU it really had the best SPF protection(they used the highest concentration allowed by EU regulations from each 18 sunscreens and Trinosorb S gave an SPF 20 all by itself). The fairer the complexion, the sooner it will start to burn. Darker skins can resist skin burn for a longer duration. I have a wheatish complexion, so without taking any risk, I assume my skin will start damaging in the sun after 5 minutes. I reapply my SPF 50 after 5 X 50 = 250 minutes without fail. Fragrance & Texture Texture , Color & Consistency Octinoxate (Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate): A UVB filter that helps protect the skin from the harmful effects of UVB rays, which are primarily responsible for causing sunburn.

Wedjat Health Solutions Pvt. Ltd. P.NO. 547 F1-F2 Pinnacle Apartment Arul Nagar East Tambaram Chennai Tamil Nadu 600059 Mail: [email protected] Telephone no: 18003137533 Regarding safety, there are also someconcerns around Octinoxate. In vitro (made in the lab not on real people) and animal studies have shown that it may produce hormonal (estrogen-like) effects. Do not panic , the studies were not conducted under real life conditions on real human people, so it is probably over-cautious to avoidOctinoxate altogether. However, if you are pregnant or a small child(under 2 yrs. old), choose a physical ( zinc oxide/ titanium dioxide) or new-generation Tinosorb based sunscreen, just to be on the super-safe side. :) The product name clearly tells us that this is purely a zinc oxide-based sunscreen. Looking at the ingredient list, just like Sunscros, this has a silicone base as well. The sunscreen has a gel-cream texture that applies easily and gives a velvety soft finish. But above all, the surprise factor of this sunscreen, it has a negligible white cast. How?! They claim to have a patented Index Match Technology that ensures transparency and no whitening effect on the skin. It also contains Zinclear IM which is an EcoCert-approved cosmetic ingredient. Is La Shield Fisico Sunscreen Gel non-comedogenic? Hell YES. It does not clog my acne-prone skin. It is also paraben-free and safe for sensitive skin. La Shield FISICO Sunscreen Gel SPF50+ with PA+++ Good Things The main concernwith nanoparticles is that they are so tiny that they are absorbedinto the skin more than we want them (ideally sunscreen should remain on the surface of the skin). Once absorbed they might form unwanted complexes with proteins and they might promote the formation of evil free radicals. But do not panic, these are concerns under investigation. A 2009 review article about the safety of nanoparticles summarizes this, "to date, in-vivo and in-vitro studies have not demonstrated percutaneous penetration of nanosized particles in titanium dioxide and zinc oxide sunscreens". The English translation is, so far it looks like sunscreenswith nanoparticlesdo stay on the surface of the skin where they should be.

Although for review purpose, I have used the product with and without moisturizer. It works better without moisturizer than with moisturizer. I usually use Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel or Hyalugel Hyaluronic Acid Gel beneath any sunscreen, but for La Shield Sunscreen Gel I didn’t even feel to use gel based ones. With moisturizer this sunscreen will feel oily for people with oily, acne prone skin. If you apply it on body, you will notice a sheen after application. La Shield Sunscreen Gel SPF 40PA+++is a sunscreen am enjoying right now in the winters for my oily and acne prone skin. The oil free and non comedogenic formula is good for oily, acne prone skin. Although using a moisturizer underneath would be little heavy for oily skinned beauties. The sunscreen doesn’t sweat at all in winters at least which is a huge plus for me. I don’t know how it will behave in summers but am sure to not use any moisturizer beneath while using it, irrespective of the season. I would recommend dry, normal, combination to oily skin type people to tryLa Shield Sunscreen Gel SPF 40PA+++once due to the photo stable sunscreen agents it has. This sunscreen lotion from WOW Skin Science contains bioactive plant extracts, making it one of the safest sunscreens recommended by dermatologists. The presence of bioactives ensures your skin is safe from tanning, pigmentation, and premature aging. Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate filters the dangerous UVA rays, provides outstanding protection from free radicals and skin damage. It is very important to reapply sunscreen but after how much time? It depends upon the SPF value of the sunscreen you are using and the time in which your skin starts reacting to the sun. For example, your skin starts burning in a matter of merely 7 minutes, and you wear a sunscreen with SPF value 15, then this sunscreen will protect your skin for 15 x 7 = 105 minutes or 1 hour and 45 minutes approximately. So after about 105 minutes, you must reapply your sunscreen. Zinc Oxide: Another physical sunscreen ingredient that works alongside titanium dioxide to provide effective sun protection by creating a barrier on the skin. La Shield Sunscreen Review - Lite SPF 50 Sunscreen Gel La Shield Sunscreen Review - Lite SPF 50 Sunscreen Gel

La Shield Sunscreen Gel is the one sunscreen that I regret not trying out earlier. I am on the second tube of this sunscreen. Even though I knew about this for a long time, but never really took it seriously. Rather, I kept on trying out others while the perfect one kept on waiting for me. Okay, maybe it’s too filmy, but that’s how I feel. La Shield FISICO Sunscreen Gel Swatch Blended

La Shield Lite Sunscreen Gel SPF 50+ PA+++ is sun protection that blends into the skin without causing a mess. It is excellent to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays. It protects the skin both indoors and outdoors. It is a powerful antioxidant, lowers inflammation, evens skin tone and restores suppleness while decreasing enlarged pores. Physical sunscreen is always my preference because I have problematic skin. Physical sunscreens mostly use natural formulation to provide sun protection such as Zinc Oxide, which is also beneficial for the skin. Chemical sunscreens, on the other hand, contain more complex chemical formulations, which I think might be not good in the long term. Sheer Brightening SPF 50 PA+++ (Contains Organic White Peony Extracts to reduce dullness and brighten the skin). Sunscreen Sins are dangerous. Everybody loves soaking some sun. But anything more than those 20 minutes in the morning, could damage your skin. I have entered into my 30s. By this time I have realized the mistakes, I have committed throughout my life. Not wearing a Sunscreen is among the top ones. Once I read everything about sunscreen and I started wearing sunscreen daily. Today, I am going to speak about La Shield FISICO Sunscreen Gel, which is a physical sunscreen. This sunscreen contains 25% Zinc Oxide providing broad-spectrum sun protection i.e. SPF 50+ & PA+++ A physical/inorganic sunscreen with pretty broad spectrum (UVB and UVA II, less good at UVA I) protection and good stability. Might leave some whitish tint on the skin, though.

Dermat’s take: Dr Madhuri Agarwal also recommends this one, saying, “In humid weather, especially like Mumbai’s, Sunheal doesn’t wear off with sweat and doesn’t leave a white cast after application either.” It’s great for both men and women, normal to oil skin as well as sensitive skin. Dry skin people can also try, but it is a hit or mi product for dry skin type people. More Photos, Swatches Pros of La Shield Sunscreen Gel SPF 40 P+++
