I have the same problem. The speaker is on BUT the pairing light is flashing and doesnt stop flashing. I have NOT pushed the pairing button on the speaker. I have tried hard reboot twice but alas the problem persists. The Juice Boom Pro XL Wireless Speaker has been specifically designed to provide an amazing rich powerful sound. I also liked the addition of being able to use my smart assistant when listening to my music. Your speaker might need to be reset to factory default settings. If you don't know how to reset UE Boom settings to their original factory default, follow these steps: When you turn the speaker on you will also see an LED that is embedded in the rubber cover. This is a Blue light when you turn the speaker on and it flashes when you go into pairing mode.
When you pair the second Juice Bass it adds to the overall sound and offers that immersive sound. I found it was nice to have in the garden as it offered that stereo sound you want when you have guests over. When reviewing this speaker I noticed its very similar design to another outdoor speaker I reviewed a few months ago the JBL Flip 4. I have trouble connecting my phone to the UE boom 2. It could connect to the UE boom but not to the newer version. I have a Android phone (elephone p8000) pleas help me fix this problem. Apart from that if you want a speaker for your staycation on a budget price give the JuiceboomPro a try! The 2x 5-watt speakers and cylindrical design allow for a 360 degree sound experience as you can use this speaker either vertical as the speaker is placed on one of the rubberised ends or you can have it horizontal but it does not affect the sound as you have a raised rubber base.I had the same problem pairing my iPhone to the UE Boom speaker despite several factory resets. I then got my iPhone to 'forget' the UE Boom and it then found the speaker and paired perfectly well after that. I think there may have been a problem with the speaker thinking that it was already paired to a different device. Battery wise you get a 2200 mAh which offers 14 hours of battery life and Juice is true to their word when testing the speaker I gave it a full charge which took about 2.5 hours and then timed my usage with this speaker and got the 14 hours of battery life they said. When you start eating into the battery life you will be able to see the amount of battery life left indicated by the number of LEDs on. The fact it comes with IPX5 means it can even handle the odd pool splash if you’re using it by the outdoor pool we all got in that heatwave. I would have preferred some colour choices in the speaker but that might come in time. I would have also liked to have been able to connect to a second speaker for that stereo sound.
