About this deal

And a note on the crowd: This party was thrown by the owner of the New England Patriots. A complex person. We locals do appreciate that he pays the band that won 6 Super Bowls and I, of course, truly appreciate him putting the band together on Monday night! The attendees were a highly monied and well-heeled bunch and but doesn’t make them bad people. Among them were many highly accomplished people in their fields including the biotech exec who founded Moderna, etc. While they may not have been the IORR salt-of-the-earth fans, most were highly appreciative of the show and were bopping and dancing along. I also heard Peter Wolf (every appearance of his is a masterclass in showmanship) was in attendance, but I didn’t see him. In the before times, it wasn’t unusual to see him enjoying or participating in the local music scene I wrote about earlier rather regularly. What a performance! She appeared in very high heals, singing amazing, powerful and with emotions, she took "Gimme Shelter" to another level. May be this was a "one time only", I hope not! It was a marvellous concert and a fantastic night; definitely one of the best concert of the Stones in Italy and probably the best one of the three gigs held in Milano since 2003. Mar 07: Madrid Spain rumoured show venue changed from Estadio Santiago Bernabéu to Wanda Metropolitano. The Regulatory Flexibility Act (“RFA”) does not apply to a rulemaking where a general notice of proposed rulemaking is not required. [ 10]

Audience participation was strong and much appreciated in Out of Time (it would be nice to have mentioned Chris Farlowe’s success with this song) and You Can’t Always Get What You Want, as well as the other singalong big hits. Everyone knows the words to these, and there are many. I heard Steve Coogan (very good British comedian) comment on TV this morning that the Stones only had 8 hits whereas the Beatles had many more. I think Steve needs some help with his arithmetic… how many partridges in a pear tree Steve? Anyway, if they are still with Universal, it seems there is someone guiding them in the right direction so maybe they won't be allowed to release another weak album like ABB. The line for entry for the majority of attendees was over 2km long, due to a narrow entrance path to the north of the venue. I’m told the south entrance was very easy. This is not the way to treat people paying 200 Euros and in many cases much more. The local promoter, who I assume was responsible for this shambles, would have been very unwise to advertise his presence to his largely patient, but very, very frustrated customers. It must be the first time a large event has been held at Longchamps…. Ok they have many such events, but don’t have a learning culture.for anything he's done and - above all - making Living In A Ghost Town sound like a band's classic with a very beatifull and clever performance and thanks a lot to Mr. Wood for avoiding his posing on stage and focusing on guitar playing. The band introduction was very interesting too. Steve Jordan was introduced as "a great friend of Charlie and the first show with us, Steve Jordan” Steve, being very humble, stayed at his drum kit.

The waiting was easy but when who go to a show the best thing is to see it , not spend easy time before ...

The Rolling Stones have announced the support acts for the the Rolling Stones tour in UK and Ireland. The Rolling Stones live at San Siro stadium, Milan Italy, Tuesday June 21, 2022 - Photo by Hendrik Mulder As a matter of fact, out of the three shows that I’ve attended so far in this tour, in Hyde Park Charlie has been missed the most. It’s too cold then why not wait and rest til next summer. It won’t be this fall they need a long break.

From what has been said so far it's business as usual: Jagger has 25 songs already demoed that they'll add to or whatever and Keith will have his one song that's pretty good and the other one that's bleh.In the Pit I've also met a long-time Stones friend, so it was great to watch the gig with him, and soon a group of Rolingas joined it to make things even livelier! The Board has determined that good cause exists for finding that the notice, public comment, and delayed effective date provisions of the APA are unnecessary, impracticable, or contrary to the public interest with respect to these final amendments to Regulation D. The rate changes for IORR and IOER that are reflected in the final amendments to Regulation D were made with a view towards accommodating commerce and business and with regard to their bearing upon the general credit situation of the country. Notice and public comment would prevent the Board's action from being effective as promptly as necessary in the public interest and would not otherwise serve any useful purpose. Notice, public comment, and a delayed effective date would create uncertainty about the finality and effectiveness of the Board's action and undermine the effectiveness of that action. Accordingly, the Board has determined that good cause exists to dispense with the notice, public comment, and delayed effective date procedures of the APA with respect to these final amendments to Regulation D. IV. Regulatory Flexibility Analysis

As I wrote in my review for Lyon I got a LD tix for Paris. In my line at the box office I was the third one to pass, the first I didn’t see his tix, the second was a young and very joyful Argentinian guy who got a Pit A and I got a standard field tix. Following the highly successful No Filter USA Tour 2021, and ahead of the 60 years anniversary due in 2022, there is more than just a slim chance they might finish the new album for a 2022 release. Well, that was way effing too many words. I did say I’m a bit of a social media luddite, so maybe I was saving it all up for this night?! All in all, I felt like I was carrying a torch for all The Rolling Stones lovers and fanatics out there with my good fortune. We’re on to St. Louis!

Glad that we got Gimme Shelter at the end, at the previous show in Lyon they dropped it at the last minute because of the heat. Keith sang a lovely "You've Got The Silver" and a once again under - rehearsed "Connection", which in any case he plays with a remarkable "f&%k you" attitute. The set list was a little predictable for that small group of fans who travel from show to show. I’m guessing that no more than 50 of us are making almost every show, and no more 500 manage to get to 3 shows. So, for the bulk of the audience, the songs played were a great sample of the Stones over the years, and with one or two exceptions played very well indeed. We're in the studio in a couple of weeks, the whole kit and caboodle. The Stones with Don Was producing, in LA. We'll have it done this year, at some point." Once we got at the racecourse, what the hell as everyone needed to go through one gate, we saw the greatest show of the Stones so far during this tour.
