About this deal

Steve Toussaint - Corlys Velaryon, or the Sea Snake, the greatest explorer in Westeros and head of the richest house Nymeria ruled the river city of Ny Sar, but as the Valyrians grew in power, she escaped with a fleet of 10,000 ships (give or take). Her first stop was Abulu in the Summer Isles, but when over 100 ships tried to return home and were lost at sea, Nymeria realised something had to be done. The writing seems to be up to par. As an introduction, this episode was written and directed well. I want to see and know more - a good sign. Ryan Condal, director Clare Kilner, Emily Carey (Alicent Hightower) and more hone in on the motivation behind Daemon’s advances towards Rhaenyra, approaching intimate scenes from a woman’s point of view, and the fractures in Rhaenyra and Alicent's friendship in Episode 4.

House of the Dragon Season 1 has come to an end, and there’s some good news. The House of the Dragon Season 1 DVD release date is confirmed. The name Martell is another familiar one, and you'll all know what happened to the likes of Oberyn, Trystane, and Doran Martell. You’ve seen all 10 episodes of House of the Dragon Season 1 on HBO and HBO Max. After a bit of a slow (and annoying due to the time jumps) start, it certainly ended with a bang. This is another series to add to your DVD collection. The golden-haired family are House of The Dragon's focus, but if you were paying close attention during the season premiere, you might have spotted a tease for another spin-off.Leo Ashton (Aemond Targaryen), Emma D'Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen), John MacMillian (Laenor Velaryon) and more speak to the fallout that occurs after Aemond loses his eye during a fight, and how Laena's death causes Laenor to reflect on his own life.

The casting seems to be on point - I saw no issue with any of the characters, and the leads were well chosen for their roles. The House of the Dragon is a HBO show on the HBO Max streaming service. It is based on some of the events from George RR Martin's Game of Thrones universe, specifically his companion novel Fire and Blood. It's separate from the A Song of Ice and Fire novel series, which is the basis for the original series. Three years since the end of Game of Thrones, the unnamed Jon Snow sequel series would actually represent the second spinoff from HBO.Details surrounding this latest offshoot don't yet appear to be fleshed out, with no members of the creative team rumoured at this point. Even the concept itself, however, is intriguing. Through the marriage of Myriah Martell to King Daeron II, it means the Targaryens are actually descendants of Nymeria. Much like how House of the Dragon has been exploring Dany's complicated family tree, 10,000 Ships can do the same as a prequel to the prequel.Director Geeta Vasant Patel, Paddy Considine (Viserys Targaryen), Wil Johnson (Vaemond Velaryon) and more dive into the motivation behind Vaemond challenging Luke’s claim to Driftmark, and Viserys’ attempt at bringing his family together in Episode 8. Whether you've caught up, or are about to start, we're here to help you get into the mood for the show, so here's everything we know about it.

Fire reigns in House of the Dragon as the first Game of Thrones spin-off has finally hit the airwaves. While HBO cancelled the Naomi Watts-led The Long Night before it even aired, the latest series is a little closet to the main Thrones timeline — some 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen.

Alicent quizzed Rhaenyra about Queen Nymeria and her conquering of the lands that would become Dorne. The name Nymeria might sound familiar, and that's because Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) named her direwolf after the warrior queen. Last week, I binged seasons 1-7 of GoT so those episodes are still very fresh in my mind and I am unaffected by rose tinted nostalgia. The reign of House Targaryen begins: House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, is here.Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen. Executive producers George R.R. Martin, Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik offer a look at what's to come; reflecting on the responsibility of evolving the world of Westeros and approaching the show through a new lens. The following main House of the Dragon cast members have been confirmed for the Game of Thrones prequel.
