Her first stop was Abulu in the Summer Isles, but when over 100 ships tried to return home and were lost at sea, Nymeria realised something had to be done. The writing seems to be up to par. As an introduction, this episode was written and directed well. I want to see and know more - a good sign. Ryan Condal, director Clare Kilner, Emily Carey (Alicent Hightower) and more hone in on the motivation behind Daemon’s advances towards Rhaenyra, approaching intimate scenes from a woman’s point of view, and the fractures in Rhaenyra and Alicent's friendship in Episode 4.
