About this deal

Milk Chocolate 30% (Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Mass, Skimmed Milk Powder, Concentrated Butter, Emulsifier: Lecithins ( Soya), Vanillin), Hazelnuts (28.5%), Sugar, Palm Oil, Wheat Flour, Whey Powder ( Milk), Fat-Reduced Cocoa, Emulsifier: Lecithins ( Soya), Raising Agent (Sodium Bicarbonate), Salt, Vanillin But unlike the Roche candy, a Raffaello has no chocolate. It is simply an almond enveloped in a rich coconut cream inside a wafer covered in white chocolate and shredded (dessicated as some call it) coconut. Think, Almond Joy, but SO MUCH BETTER and more refined. Ferrero Rondnoir - Fine Chocolate Covered Speciality with a Dark Chocolate Centre in Smooth Filling

Ferrero Collection

The cookie is made up of a spherical wafer which is filled with a white milky cream and roasted almonds. It is surrounded by a coconut layer with a white cream coating. Beginning and ending with the dry ingredients, mix in the dry ingredients and the buttermilk, alternating each. so do ⅓ of the dry, half the buttermilk, another ⅓ dry, the other half of the buttermilk and the last third of the dry.. Make sure to incorporate after each addition. Frost and Top the Cake Layers: Frost one of the cake layers with the cake cream and top it with the crushed almonds and wafers. Repeat with the other layer, saving the layer with the round top for the very top layer. Frost the outside of the cake with the remaining cake cream and top with the Ferrero Raffaello candies and coconut flakes. This recipe is for an 8-inch round single layer cake. You can of course make in a square cake pan, but the larger you go with the size (ie. 9-inch pan) the thinner the cake and the less the cooking time, so please keep that in mind.Use ground almond. Instead of using roasted almond slivers, sprinkle on ground almond meal instead if you like a finer texture and consistency. Almond flour. I like to include part almond flour, but you can leave it out if you don't have it or can't find it, simply go with 1 cup + 2 tablespoons of regular flour. In a small, glass mixing bowl (or one that is heatproof), whisk together the sugar and egg whites. Place the bowl on top of a saucepan with simmering water, filled a quarter of the way (water should be low enough that the bowl doesn't touch any water). Warm the egg whites and sugar, whisking a bit, for about 8 minutes. If using a thermometer, it should be 160-170; if not, mixture should be hot to touch and sugar should be dissolved. Coconut cream frosting - Here's where the coconut comes in. To keep it single layer, still delicious and a true Rafaello recipe, we are topping the cake recipe with a light and delicious coconut cream swiss meringue frosting. This frosting has a little bit of white chocolate in it, just like the candy's coating. Freezer: You can freeze the entire cake by placing it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and popping it in the freezer uncovered. Once it’s completely frozen, carefully wrap the cake in a of couple layers of plastic wrap. Store it in the freezer for up to a month. To defrost it, allow it to thaw in the fridge overnight.

Ferrero Raffaello - Ferrero

Turning Ferrero Raffaello into a great cake recipe isn't hard at all, I promise. Here are a few things to remember: After whipping the meringue, be sure to cool it down. If you don't and you add the butter to warm meringue you will melt the butter and it will not emulsify. The meringue largely cools in the eternity it takes to whip, but be sure it is at least room temp before adding that butter. Ingredients: sugar, cocoa butter, skimmed MILK powder, desiccated coconut (10.5%), vegetable fat (palm), whey powder ( MILK), ALMONDS (3%), coconut milk powder ( MILK) (2%), anhydrous MILK fat, emulsifier: lecithins ( SOYA), flavourings. Take cooled cake and place on serving plate or a cake stand. Spread the frosting on top. Use as little or as much as you like. This frosting is so good that I always use all of it (plus it makes for a fun presentation).

Turn the speed to low and add the butter two pieces at a time. Make sure the mixer is on low and that you are adding just two pieces at a time, or it will slop over the sides. Increase the speed to medium and mix for another 5 minutes. The butter should be thoroughly emulsified with the meringue. The frosting should be smooth and shiny. Ingredients: reconstituted skimmed MILK, sugar, coconut oil, desiccated coconut (6.5%), skimmed MILK powder, WHEY powder, glucose syrup, CREAM, concentrated BUTTER, ALMONDS(1.8%), MILK proteins, sunflower oil, emulsifiers (mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, lecithins ( SOYA)), flavourings, stabilizers (locust bean gum, guar gum, carrageenan).

After many attempts, and several elaborate multi layer cakes, I have paired this down to a single layer almond coconut cake that brings out all the best flavors in the Ferrero Raffaello candy. I love your recipe, and can't wait to make it for my boyfriend's birthday in a few days. However I am a bit confused about the 'Vanilla Wafers'. I looked it up on Google, and now have the feeling, that what we call 'Vanilla Wafers' here in Hungary is a utterly different thing that you might have used. And I think that we don't really have your kind of wafers here. Can you help me out? What exactly is the product that you used? According to my Google search it might be some kind of store-bought buttery cookie, under the brand name of 'Nilla', am I right? Use softened butter and cream cheese. Leave the butter and cream cheese out at room temperature for 30 minutes to soften them and make them easier to work with.

Shredded unsweetened coconut - You can use sweetened shredded coconut, but I prefer unsweetened, as I think it has more genuine coconut flavor. Also not - dessicated coconut is the same as shredded coconut. Americans (at the least in the Midwest) call it shredded coconut, while I believe internationally it is referred to as dessicated.

For over 50 years, we have been committed to providing our UK consumers with high quality products such as Kinder Surprise, Ferrero Rocher, Tic Tac, Nutella and Thorntons. We are driven by our pursuit for quality and excellence, whilst staying true to our values as a family-owned business. I am a huge fan of the single layer cake. They are simple to make, only require one pan, and are not overwhelming to frost or decorate. And let's be honest, most of the time (though not all of the time), we don't really need double or triple layers of cake. Here are the wafers I used. I typically have to trek to a European specialty store to snag them. But, don’t worry if you can’t find them or don’t feel making an extra stop at another store. You can use any brand of wafers that come in vanilla. Storing Raffaello Candy
