About this deal

This is a masterpiece, I had never smelled anything like it , very realistic, nothing synthetic, this is the perfume that Damon Salvatore or Klaus Mikaelson would use, but on a woman I can imagine characters like Jessica Jones using something like this, it smells like forest at night and many pines and cypresses burning in flames. I like the scent but unfortunately I can't get over the bitter taste it gives in my mouth while wearing, I will sell it off. 😢 Now, IMO, not worth the price (despite being so cheap) it last under 3 hours with skin-close to no projection. If you want to smell this 10+ sprays at least.

Performance is quite disappointing, but this is a cheap EDT so you can't really complain too much... I need to test this out a little more, I'm going through a 1.2ml test bottle right now. It's quite cheap at around 25 euro for a 100ml bottle and I was tempted to blind buy it because I'm in love with CH 212, Bleu de Chanel edp and Burburry touch. It came up as a recommended fragrance when I put those scents into fragrantica's fragrance finder. However it's a very different smell. Encre Noire by Lalique is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Encre Noire was launched in 2006. The nose behind this fragrance is Nathalie Lorson. Top note is Cypress; middle note is Vetiver; base notes are Cashmere Wood and Musk.

I got this in at most a week or so ago. As is my standard procedure now I received it, opened it, and sprayed 10 sprays to introduce oxygen and let the oxidation begin. One word for this fragrance: sharp. Sharp like a piece of deep gray metal cut with machine precision into a right angle. A concept I haven’t seen presented much is this: the lower the price, the greater the volatility of final scent. I know this isn’t always true—some cheapies have it down!—but maybe this is what many of us are experiencing with these bottles? Can anyone experienced in the industry lend an informed opinion here? This smells amazing and unique. To me it smells like walking through a damp forest with roots and dirt wafting through the air. Yet strangely it smells very elegant and dressed-up. I think this could be worn day or night in any season except summer. This smells expensive. I really wanted to like this one. I enjoy the smell, but I must have a newer weaker batch because the perfomance is incredibly underwhelming compared to how its been descrilbed elsewhere.

Personally, I would wear Narciso Rodriguez for Him if I wanted something darker in the warmer months. In the cold season I wear Tom ford noir. Also good for layering to give a bit of lift & dimension & fun experimentation. On its own, I prefer the A L'Extreme version which is quite similar in feel, but has more body, more character, bit woodier, more ashy warmth, fuller. This captures the mood of a gloomy Baltic pine forest, just after it starts raining on a smouldering campfire. Alternatively, this would have been the last thing a Roman legionary smelled before being disemboweled and having his eyes gouged out with rusty fishing hooks at the battle of Teutoburg forest. There is a bit of a green cypressy freshness to it that wouldn't be misplaced in a haunted house.Trwałość to jakiś dramat, maks 60 min. Projekcja, praktycznie zerowa. Nie licząc pierwszych 3 minut. It is almost unwearable, like it is unique, and dark earthy mysterious, it is a masterpiece, but it is almost unwearable. The "this is how death smells like " thing is true, not really a describable feeling, but this is depressing.

For the price it's at, I can't see why you'd pass this one up- great perfume for those who like dark or vetiver forward scents. It doesn't try to be anything it's not, unlike its extreme cousin which screams 'Here I am! Remember me?!' and soon after turns in to a confused mess. Smooth, slightly unusual, very appealing, classic cool. Clean, semisweet woods, calm and effortlessly refined. Simply a well-crafted scent that smells casually expensive. The few notes in this fragrance combine to form something more complex than most bottles I've ever smelled. The wood is more reminiscent of something like wet log in a forest, rather than woodchips.Try it under your summer daytime go-to to make it a summer nighttime one. Blends well with almost any typical summer base of patchouli, woods, incense, or ambrox, and supports both citrus and mint bombs like Dior Cologne and Roadster. After a couple of sprays, you notice a magnificent imposing gloomy cypress. The vetiver middle notes make themselves noticed almost immediately, embracing the cypress without choking it.

Ya Encre Noir adalah parfum woody yang terkesan Gothic. Seperti lembabnya Gunung Halimun Bogor atau hutan bunuh diri Aokigahara Jepang. It's smells fantastic, alas it seems that like Zino this may have been reformulated into a disappointment.Sometimes the best things in life are not very expensive. Great performance and amazing scent profile. A must have for any collector. My final impression is that its a Cypress forward scent, with a vetiver base. In the opening and mid drydown its smokey but it loses it in the final phase. It is still an incredibily unique, evocative, nostalgic, dark, bitter green, artistic perfume. Maceration made it smoother, more rounded and dry woody. I still maintain my opinion about the performance, it is average at best, atleast on my skin. It is not a powerfull perfume, and it shouldn't be. This is not a fragrance you spray everyday, it wouldn't do it justice. This is one to enjoy alone, when the mood calls for it.
