About this deal

Wow, sounds interesting, you’ve got my attention! I have not tried a planner, too expensive for me and can’t get past the perfectionism. I have tried a bullet journal, but again allowed perfection to get the best of me and dropped it. All I use now is a calendar by the home phone, but don’t take it with me to places, so I tend to forget my plans. I like the idea of having something portable, besides my smartphone ? which I hardly use for planning. Being a creative person having something personal and tangible is the way to go. Thank you for sharing your thoughts ? BuzzFeed Tasty Search, watch, and cook every single Tasty recipe and video ever - all in one place! I am going to show you some of my favoritebullet journal markers, highlighters, and brush pens that you can use in your sketchbook or art bullet journal.

Looking for bullet journal ideas to add to your notebook? In this post, I am going to share over 100 amazing Bullet Journal Collections for you to try. As many people move to a new journal, they have to think about what to do with old collections. Do you rewrite them all in the new journal? Do you leave them behind? For everyone, this answer will be different. However, there are some things to consider. Is the collection a one-time list or something that you use again and again? For example, you could write headings like "Weight and Fitness Goals," "Deadlines and Due Dates," "Work Goals," and "Creative Goals." Oh my goodness it’s like I could have wrote this. I totally relate to everything you’re saying. I bullet journal and I was crazy about it but after about three months I quit and now I have five notebooks (and 7 planners) I use that I bought on sale thinking I would use them. I totally need this book. These are good bullet journal notebooks and they affordable, however, the paper quality is not as good as the one listed above from Rhodia. Still, a great option if you don’t play with a lot of pen colors or don’t mind a little ghosting.

Jennie, I feel the same way! I have tried so many different planners, always trying to make it fit into my life, and always without success. I end up writing my dates, plans, lists and recipes all over the place and I’m still not organized! The dot journaling method sounds like it would work. If it works for you, I am willing to give it a go!

This sounds perfect for me and my 2 teen daughters to do for our crazy lives. We will definitely be trying to use this method this year. I love your blog and all the helpful organizational tips you share.

Hi Barbara — thanks for your comment! You’re entered in the giveaway contest. Dot journaling and bullet journaling are the same. yes I could definitely see making the journal look pretty being a distraction. Reply For example, almost a year ago I was sitting at my desk at work when I saw the funniest thing: I witnessed a squirrel drag a full slice of pizza across a parking lot across the street.
