Donner DST-152 is a versatile guitar that overall sounds really good for the price. It offers easy and smooth playability and comes with all the accessories you need to get started. The setup the guitar came with is low, which is great. So it is ready to play out of the box. The 2-point bridge system is really good; I prefer it instead of the 5-point systems, as these ones are easier to set up.

This guitar is part of the Donner Seeker series that includes 3 different guitars sharing a lot of characteristics: the Donner DST-152, the DST-200, and the DST-400, reviewed by Guitar International HERE. The DST-152 is a classic Stratocaster model with a poplar body. We can see that Donner is really trying hard to produce a decent guitar. This isn’t just throwing parts together and hoping they don’t fall apart – it’s clear to see that this is a company that cares about building a brand and a customer base; the NAMM booth was a big hint about this goal.Yamaha is famous for its great guitars for reasonable prices, and the Yamaha Pacifica Series PAC112J is no different. It is a popular beginner guitar model due to its quality construction and parts, simple design, decent sound, and, before all, great price.

The bag plus all the accessories that came with the guitar are great for someone just starting out on learning to play. I rate this guitar 4.5 out of 5 for its sound and feel with the offered price. It is a great instrument with a very good value-for-price ratio.
