About this deal

This started great! very funny. I liked how the story evolved. The chemistry between Violet and Matteo is amazing. In some languages, such as Latvian, the vernacular version of ciao has become the most common form of informal salutation. I so wanted to love this one. The plot is reminiscent of a R.S. Grey novel (whom I love), so it could have been the perfect escape after a hard week. However, Violet’s personality bothered me and she sometimes seemed immature and definitely younger than 29.

ciao for now - English definition, grammar, pronunciation

Bromley skillfully explores themes of mental health, self-reflection, and embracing one's true self. Her addictive writing made this impossible to put down, and I can’t wait to see what she does next!Russian: чау, чао, chao; ("goodbye"); also jokingly - чао-какао, chao-kakao (from чай — "tea" and какао — "cocoa") I loved Violet from the beginning. She's brave enough to pursue her dreams and finish design school, becoming a finalist in a fashion competition that rewards a job at a New York label, even though she's 29. She still misses her ex-boyfriend, the same man she changed cities for, but she's concentrating on her A-game to create killing designs to find her dream job in the fashion industry. I also loved hanging out with Violet and her endearing classmates as they interned in the fashion world. I don’t know much about fashion but it was fun exploring that world with them and watching them design pieces for their contest. If you say it to your favourite actor when you meet him at a book signing, then that would even be creepy. With her thirties rapidly approaching and a mountain of student debt looming over her, Violet Luciano’s dream of finishing design school and working in fashion has cost her everything. So when she lands an internship at an up-and-coming fashion brand in Rome, she brings her A game to Italy. With nothing left to lose, Violet plans to win the competition among the interns for the ultimate prize—a job at a New York label. Violet’s immature nature for someone her age - I know she’s in a growth period in her life, but she (and sometimes Matt) read as early twenties to me instead of late twenties/early thirties. In my opinion, the author was trying a bit too hard to make her *~quirky~*.When an American interning at a fashion house in Rome butts heads with her professor's surly son, sparks fly! Kristy Woodson Harvey, New York Times Bestselling Author of The Summer of Songbirds on Ciao for Now I really liked Violet and Matt’s chemistry and flow of the story was great, however, the ending left me wanting more In Here for the Drama, Bromley's signature humor and witty banter stand out in this theater-themed, drama-filled, romantic coming of age story. I’ll start by admitting that I binged this book within 24 hours, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. This might be Kate’s best book yet. It was fun, witty, captivating and lovable. It’s the perfect amount of grumpy-sunshine, enemies to lovers. And hear me out: it’s Emily in Paris meets When in Rome (yes the Mary Kate and Ashley one) with a hint of Lizzie McGuire, and The Devil Wears Prada. Matt pauses, catching his breath and squaring his shoulders. “Probably. But it’s a bad decision I want to make again.” Don’t be embarrassed if you’re struggling to answer a crossword clue! I loved the banter, the humor, and the slow-burn push and pull of Violet and Matt's romance. Despite the slow-burn in the love department, this was NOT a slow read. It is well-paced and the perfect length. Additionally, Bromley really transports the reader to Rome with vivid descriptions of food, fashion, culture and scenery.
