A Balefleet is a warband of Chaos Space Marines that has been sent forth by Abaddon and Vashtorr to find the different McGuffins that they need for their rituals. You don't get either of the head honchos in this set but you do get ten Possessed, five Chaos Space Marine Terminators, a Heldrake and then a dark and twisted Daemon Prince. I did wonder if we were going to see boarding patrol boxes although I do think taking Abaddon wont make a very interesting game. That said, I wouldn’t mind taking him for some sort of narrative or special Boarding Action game. Maybe as a “final boss” sort of fight where you play on a double sized map with 1000 points per side? Regardless of what you choose at this point you’ve got a lot of boots on the ground — so how are you going to get them where they need to get? You could opt for Rhinos but with Chaos Terminators a Land Raider could be pretty effective. I’d also look at snagging a Chaos Sorcerer just for some psychic shenanigans as well. Only showing 5x CSMs not 10 on Boarding Patrol photo is strange too, not showing all the minis included! But including a unique character like Abaddon ruins that box IMHO. Wish the possessed and cultists had a bit more customization, but I guess that’s not a huge deal. cultists i can raid the bits box or paint different skin tones on duplicates. Possessed… hmm that’ll be a challenge.So I think the box will come with 10 marines but the picture on the box is the actual warband you can play. It's always an excellent service with brilliant products at a very competitive price - will use again! As we said, this has a bit of a random assortment of models, but the value is definitely there! This actually rivals some of the better boxes from Christmas, so if you need all the models inside, this is totally worth grabbing, as you basically get two boxes of Possessed for free! It also contains the new Daemon Prince, which is quite pricey to grab on its own, so that’s very nice.
