When is not full of water, it doesn't quite sit down on the base, but again perhaps this will loosen over time. Ok. So this isn't the most expensive kettle it there, but I'm still a little disappointed but the finish. Some of the grooves (between elements) are not as smart as they should be and the join line (of the plastic) down from the spout to the base is a bit of a let down.

looks good, and works well so far( am hedging my bets, as another brand of kettle I bought elsewhere started leaking after only 6 months, which is why I bought this one). Particularly like the blue lights when it's on, and how quiet it is.Only problem I had was that after about 14 months, the on switch became hard to switch on, but had to buy another of the same. Best kettle I've ever hadtrouble is it went like that and got worse so that the lid bent and seal got worse and eventually there becakme no auto shut off. time to get a new one, but flawed, hope new one does not have same thing. Flip Top Lid - The flip lid is controlled by a button on the handle. It opens a full 90 degrees to facilitate easy filling.
